no ship is perfect for all things.
as it stands amarr has an ubertank on most ships and on others they have the damage output to screw most ships.
Sure û we have good DPS but when everyone is ubertanked against your damage types itÆs kind of hard to actually make good use of that DPS.
and if you are going to say that you think its unfair having to train a secondary weapon... well gallente has to do the same.
Uhh à IÆve trained up drones to 5m SP as Amarr (not to mention all the worthless skills to use mods like Reactor Control IIs).
if amarr deserves exp crystals then gallente deserves em/exp ammo too.

if you mention the fact that your frigates dont have drone space.. well in a frigate fight 1 drone will not make the differnce between winning and losing especialy since amarr has the punisher

with base resists like the punisher + 8 low slots +8 gun slots... it will be out tanking all other ships.
ItÆll be great fun trying to sustain 8 guns (with no cap bonus) and a tank! I suspect running ACs or arty on it may actually work out decently though à

Wow its been a long time since I have been in such a blatant troll thread.
First, you make a really stupid argument and outright say its not open for debate. Great plan on a discussion board, really. Suprise, we aren't here to stroke your ego. We all have our own opinions and will debate them as we please.
That being said...
Your arguments are still bad. Try shooting lasers once at something that isnt a Sansha or Blood Raider NPC and maybe then you will realize how incredibly absurd your arguments are.
Ill tell you what. Find a competent pilot that loses to an Amarr battleship in a Dominix or Blasterthron and I will be very impressed. If YOU have ever lost to an Amarr battleship in either a Blasterthron or Dominix then please excuse me while I laugh it off for the next week.
Ever failed a Jam on someone? I am willing to bet it was not against an Amarr ship, unless of course they gimped their setup to fit an ECCM.
Ever get hit regularly under 5km by Megapulses? Didn't think so.
Ever lose an interceptor duel to an Amarr interceptor? How badly did you lose the same duel to a Taranis or Crow?
I could go on, but really, its pointless to argue such a point with someone that clearly lacks the slightest clue.

anyone with half a clue can see that game balance has moved away from amarr.
EW, low sens, EANM II tank, lack of damage type choice, fitting problems and NOS popularity in the mix.
Not the best of times to fly amarr ships.

this is all i really want for amarr
1.make amarr harder to jam, not the weakest
2.apoc change more cap bonus to resistance bonus like maller and proph
3.tech 1 cruiser(maller omen) need a powergrid boost
4.small lasers need powergrid lowered so you can actually fit them on ships other the the retribution
5.tier 3 BS, FFS give us a little love here so many things wrong i don't even know where to begin with that one

I fly caldari and amarr, when I saw the 50 page gallente whine thread about how gallente were ONLY going to get a bonus to thermal drone damage I didnt post, guess why?
I dont fly gallente so how would I know about their balance.

Im 25mil amarr specced and have spend 2 months perfecting a setup that can barelly hold its ground against a blasterthron, which has double my RoF, same tank, and wrecks for 2500 on structure.
