Hello,
So today I was flying my Avatar Titan, we were doing a little convoy to our next staging system. Wonderfully to make great luck my mac client of eve froze. Sort of annoying but within 1 min I restarted the game and was logged in again. Then about 5 mins later another crash. Very annoyed this time and again had to restart the game, luckily I made it back home without being caught while my avatar was floating around while my game restarted.
Now I know that Mac clients are known for crashing a minimum of 10 times a hour. But this is ridiculous, it took me 6 years of playing eve to achieve a titan and 2 super carriers and now I'm suddenly going to lose it all because for the past couple months mac clients won't stop freezing.
6 years to get, 1 crash to lose it all.
The best part of it all is that it isn't even my fault (apart from buying a mac to play eve). I have perfect internet connection that maybe disconnects once a year. AND CCP doesn't reimburse for losing a ship due to a game crash HAHAHAHAH

So what happens when I'm in a fleet fights, or any fight of some sort. and then the mac client decides to play a game of freeze
Are you running any applications such as Skype or uTorrent at the same time? If so, I would advise closing these as competition on your net connection seems to be a common crash point. Furthermore, are you running with EVE Voice or Multithreaded openGL enabled?

The applications that are open at the same time are: Safari iMessage Mail Sometimes iTunes EVE Launcher + 3 Clients (windowed mode) TeamSpeak (Which also always freezes all the time)
Multithreaded openGL is turned ON EVE Voice is enabled in options(but not in use in-game)
*** Its not a internet connection issue, the game freezes completely while the other 2 clients kept running. I had to Force-Quit my Avatars Client and then reopen a new client *** |

Do all of the following:
Turn off multi-threaded open GL Disable eve voice
Close as many of those other applications as you can tolerate. Ideally, just have eve and teamspeak running.
Do not start multiple clients with the launcher. Instead use the clonemaker.
I do all of these things, and I get one freeze a week, on average.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
