How about a drop down menu with all factions listed. Then you click the factions that you do not want to loose standings with. It would be a "Do not offer me any missions against these factions". Many times, the same mission will display again after the 4 hour cool down. |

just decline missions you don't want to do, pretty simple imo. In general the standings hit isn't even worth worrying about.

Choices have consequences. Under the current system, you must either choose to run the offered mission and take a standings hit or wait out the cooldown.
What would the consequences be of having such a system in place? If none, I couldn't support the idea for an instant. If you can propose reasonable consequences I'd consider it. |

tbh there aren't any consequences of the current system. the number of missions I decline is just stupid

1. This is part of the balance. So mission runners will not get their ISK too easy.
2. If you decline missions against Amarr, price for amarr navy officer tags will rise up. Which will make Republic Fleet Disruptors price rise too. Do you really want to buy your favorite toy for 20-25 % more ISK?
3. HTFU and be bold Gallentian pilot, free slaves ! Down with 24th Imperial Crusade and the whole empire space ! You do not need to go there in non-combat ship any way. Eve online is much more than just a shooter - live in a world you joined, do not degrade it to some Counter strike in space. Cladari are enemies, ignore Jita (make a neutral alt to go there, but psssst !). |

Couple points...
2 months playing is not really enough time to see how the game works and how everything fits together in order to offer suggestions on changes that will fit well in the game.

How about a drop down menu that lets you select how much ISK, LP, Loot, and Salvage you would like while you're at it.
You know what? **** it. Missions are too brain-dead to even bother running. No competent mission runner ever loses ships in missions anyway.
How about you just push a button and get stuff 12-15 minutes later?

It is not about losing ships. It is about building and maintaining relationships and being able to continue missions. Everyone has different playing styles and preferences. This suggestion was from experienced Eve players that asked me to post for them because they do not like dealing with the haters. No need for personal attacks.

Perhaps if there was a percentage drop in the total LP/Isk you can make by requesting to not get certain missions. For example, if 10% of the missions the agent gives are against Minmatar and you blacklist anti-minmatar missions, all other missions will have a 10% decrease in reward. No more minmatar missions at the cost of less total isk. I'd be okay with a system like this, even if I'd never use it. |

I'd like this function for skipping on burner missions. I dont have the training or the resources to attempt a burner mission. They are already optional and have no penalty, so why no option to opt out of them? I know its only 2 extra clicks but i sometimes get chains of burner mission offers which i won't accept.
I suppose it's a balance thing that makes anti faction missioning a forced reality but i was just going to decline it anyway. . Maybe an auto decline option with the understanding that i will take a faction hit for any missions that get declined in this way? |

Does EVE need an Anarchy Online style mission selector?

No, just no.
Let's say I'm at 8.9 with the NPC corp. I decline my first mission, it's no standing hit. Second mission comes up and I don't want that one either, so a decline and take a standings hit. Standings are now at 8.6 (that's being generous). I do 4 missions and my standings are back at 8.9. See how that works? Declining missions isn't that bad, because you can fix the standings rather quickly. |
