Hiya Caps, I'm about to start running missions for Amarr in my NM when training is completed next month and I was wondering if someone be kind enough to give me some recommendations on which corporation or faction to run level 4 missions with the best LP value/store. |

This is your friend . Thing is, LP store items value is not fixed. It is developing. And you have to check your very market cause even same module can have totaly different price in Amarr and in Rens. Depends on where you are, where you buy necessary tags etc... |

OP, work for Ministry of Internal Order first to unlock the level 4 Amarr Epic Arc if you haven't.
List of corps that have 2 agents in same solar system: 1. Theology Council 2. Imperial Armanets 3. Ministry of Internal Order 4. Nurtura 5. Kador Family 6. Carthum Conglomerate 7. Ministry of War 8. Inherent Implants
All corps listed above offer: navy apoc/harbringer/omen/slicer warfare mindlink smartbombs, armor repairers, nosferatu, energy destabilizers, turrets, heat sinks, DDA, omni.tracking armor hardeners/membranes/platings, cap.boosters, cap.rechargers frenq.crystals
1 and 3 offers: exploration hardwires and cap.recharger BPCs
2, 4, 6, and 8 offers: industry hardwires, TIL-1 Nexus Chip (BS class) armor hardener/membrane/plating BPCs
3 and 7 offers: navy apoc/harbringer/omen/slicer BPCs almost all hardwires except listed above SB/nosferatu/energy destabilizer BPCs
You can decide which corp is best for you If you looking for LP/ISK then SoE is best in these days.
I'd stuck with Ministry of Internal Order. |

The Questions I'm about to ask may seem ignorant to the vets so forgive my noobness kind sir. I did some googling on all the Amarr corporation LP stores and to be perfectly honest they all seem completely worthless with most items in the LP store costing way lesser in the market trading hubs. Is this a glitch or poor game mechanics? But the question I wanted to ask you kind sir is why Ducia Foundry? Do they offer more LP than others? Do they offer better lv 4 missions? Or do they offer specific items in their LP store that no other corporations offer?

Thank you Mr Mac this is very useful information. I didn't even know that Amarr had and epic mission arc. And yes I'm fully aware that SOE have the best LP point store value over anything else out there. The main reason I'm doing amarrian missions is to increase my standings with amarr so I can kill them later when doing SOE missions. But grinding missions is very boring for just that so since I'm doing Amarr missions I may as well do the ones that offer the best rewards. And sigh....by the looks of it they all suck majorly compared to SOE. Even so I thought there may be at least ONE that offers some goodies that a few know about so here I am begging for that inside info. I'd also be interested in knowing which corporations offer lv 4 missions like Vengeance and Blockade in abundance.

If you are looking for Vengeance, Blockade etc try the Khanid Navy agent in Palas, it's not Amarr exactly but they are allied so you get derived standings to Amarr from storylines and that agent gives out mostly all the highest payout missions.
I used to use the Theology agent in Sasoutikh as there are two agents in the station as Mr Mac says above (nice list btw). It doesn't appear on some lists as it is close to low sec but as there are no stations in those nearest low sec systems it is vary rare that you have to turn one down.
Ducia - I recall getting standings with them years ago but I can't recall now why, I will have a look. Thanks for the tip :) |

I would strongly advise against this.
It may be necessary to run 2 or 3 faction kill missions against Amarr while getting your SOE standing up to 5.0, but once you've got over 5.5 standing with the SOE corp, just decline any additional faction kill missions. This will slightly lower your SOE corp standing, but does it at the benefit of keeping amarr standing and it doesn't usually lower the SOE standing enough to drop it past 5.0.
Keep in mind that a lot of the SOE storyline missions also significantly hurt Amarr standing while significantly boosting Gallente standing. You'll want to keep as much of your amarr standing as possible so that when you do run these storyline missions, you won't go below 5.0 Amarr faction standing and therefore have to grind for Amarr level 4 standing again.
If you run enough SOE storyline missions, you will eventually need to do more Amarr grinding.
Before starting missions with SOE my Amarr standing was at nearly 7.0 and Gallente was at nearly -4.0. Over the last few weeks those standings have gone to about 5.4 and -0.20 respectively. This is all from storyline missions in the Apanake SOE hub.

That's not bad for 3 weeks of anti-Amarr missioning. I think it's worth it due to the fact that mist of deadspace and smash the supplier have some of the highest level 4 mission payout. And you can always go back to doing Amarr missions once your standings reach the 5.0 mark.

That's my point, I haven't spent 3 weeks "anti-Amarr missioning," I've only been running the regular storyline missions that you get offered for every 16 regular missions. I've been turning down faction kill missions left and right, and my amarr standings have still dropped. If I ran every anti-amarr mission I was offered, I'd be reduced to level 1 amarr standing by the end of a night.
Point being, save your valuable amarr standing for the SOE storyline missions and don't run any amarr-kill missions whatsoever.

Ahh, I see. I didn't know that i'd be this difficult to balance the Amarr/Gallentee/Minmatard standings. Turning down Mist of Deadspace and Smash the Supplier makes me cringe everytime. Geez I wish CCP change this. Why offer such great missions in the mission pool that kill standings with a major empire? Only storyline missions should hurt/increase standings and nothing else. If running incursions were better I'd just do that instead of this missioning crap.

You probably only need Industry I to build the BPCs, Show Info on a BPC in the LP store and look at the skills tab under Manufacturing IIRC. I think everyone starts with that skill and the ability to run 1 manufacturing job, or if not it only takes a few minutes to train the skills up. Whether it's a good idea or not I wouldn't say but the skill requirements shouldn't hold you back if you are just building the odd BPC once in a while. |

I have no idea how or why this lie persists. Faction standings are not a factor in determining if you can run missions for an NPC. Your player corps standings are not a factor in determining if you can run missions for an NPC.
This is really simple, you must have 5.0 or higher standing towards an NPC (the corp not the agent or facaion) to run level 4 missions for an agent in that NPC.
I have 8.0 standing to Amarr the faction and I still have to start with lvll 1's when moving to an Amarr affilitated NPC that I have never run missions for.
I recently moved to run missions for a Caldari NPC, I still had to start at level 1's even though the player corp has 9.0 standings to that NPC.
Further proof is a new player in the corp this character is in. Corp wise we have 8.0 standing to Emperor Family yet he is required to grind to 5.0 before he can run lvl 4s solo. |

You missed my point and are kinda saying the same thing I am. Your [player] corp standing towards an NPC Agent/Corp/Faction doesn't at all influence your ability to run missions.
As the guy above me said, it looks at your highest personal standing towards the agent, corp or faction. If you have 0.0 standing with a new agent, 2.0 standing with his corporation and 5.5 standing with his faction, then guess what, you can run level 5 missions for any NPC corp in that entire faction, no grinding necessary.
Back to what I was saying and to elaborate a little bit more, storyline missions for SOE decrease your Amarr faction standing while boosting Gallente faction standing. (They may also decrease/boost some corp/agent standings but I haven't been paying attention.) As I currently have ~5.5 Faction standing with Amarr, which has decreased from ~7.0 faction standing over the past few weeks while running storyline missions, running enough SOE storyline missions will eventually decrease my Amarr faction standing so that I no longer have over 5.0 faction standing with Amarr, and would therefore not be able to run missions for every single Amarr NPC corp.
If faction standing didn't matter to me then I could just let faction standing drop and continue to use my 9.0+ corp standings with Ministry of Internal Order or Theology Council to take level 4 missions from, but I'm OCD and insist on having 5.0+ standings with each of the 4 factions, so I'm being careful about how many SOE storyline missions I run.

Hmm, I think I'll take Mr Mac's suggestions and run missions for ministry of order. Once my standings are high enough I'll go back to doing SOE missions and repeat this process while keeping my Amarr/Minmatard's standing at 5.0. To recall on the knowledge gained in forums both Mist of Deadspace and Smash the Supplier lowers my Amarr standings while increasing Minmatard's , SOE storyline missions increased Gallente standings and Ministry of internal orders storyline missions increases Amarr while lowering Minmartard's. I think I'll work with this for now and later figure out a way to kill Gallente since my standings with them would be the highest. |

SoE has very high standings to gallente, so derived standing gains are very nice. Thus you can kill Gallente durp, thats what you said
I get plenty of enemies abound missions from caldari and amarr agents, so keeping your amarr standings up should give you opportunity to kill gallente.

Corp wise we have 8.0 standing to Emperor Family yet he is required to grind to 5.0 before he can run lvl 4s solo.
errm... Probably because its not a lie. Agents check your character's Agent standing, Corp standing, and faction standing when deciding if they should give you a mission. any one of these can be above 5.0 and they will give you a mission. there is also a check that standings are above -2, not 100% sure exactly how that requirement works, but pretty sure it also checks your characters agent/corp/faction standings. There may be a slightly different working for R&D agents, but I haven't used them enough know.

As the guy above me said, it looks at your highest personal standing towards the agent, corp or faction. If you have 0.0 standing with a new agent, 2.0 standing with his corporation and 5.5 standing with his faction, then guess what, you can run level 5 missions for any NPC corp in that entire faction, no grinding necessar. NO we are not saying the same thing and again you are wrong. The only standing that determines IF you can run a specific level of mission is your PERSONAL standing towards that specific NPC (as in NPC corp not the faction). Your personal standings towards an NPC faction do not enter into this except as noted below.
If you run missions a lot and have done so for many years in a single area of space then derived standings can help with this situation. But most players who are not dedicated mission runners or those that have not been at if for years would not in a general sense have enough derived standings to make much of a difference.

Err no, you're completely wrong. If you have high faction standing, then you can run missions for anyone in that faction. I don't run missions all that often, but my standings for gallente are around 6.0 and as such, I can run lvl 4 missions for any of the corporations. Trust me, I have done this before. Many other people have done this as well. It does not matter in the slightest if your corporation standings are 0 if your faction standings are over 5, you can run lvl 4 missions. If you have high enough corp, faction, or standing towards the agent themselves, then you can run the mission, regardless of what the others are (so long as they are above -2.0).
And I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure there are no such thing as derived standings towards corporations, only faction.s |

Nope. If your faction, corp, or personal standing is 5.0 or higher and above -2.0, you can mission for that agent. (However, you can always do level 1 missions regardless of standings.)
So if your faction is 5.0+ then you can run level 4s with any agent for that faction/empire (as long as you don't happen to have a personal or corp standing of < -2.0 with that agent)

Since declining missions results in a miniscule hit to your faction standings, having a high faction standings will let you decline multiple missions in a four hour block without losing access to that agent. You just need keep faction at 5.0+ and personal/corp above -2.0.
