Hi
so I know that the payout for l4 missions in npc null are higher than normal highsec lvl 4s (LP payout is double/triple)
are lowsec lvl 4 missions paying out slighlty higher than highsec due to it's location? Normally I could just fly to lowsec, open a window with an agent to find out, but I cant get on eve right now so I was just wondering if someone knew. I noticed there are lvl 4 agents in lowsec and was wondering if the had purpose (i.e. more risk for the space you are in = higher payout than highsec).
thanks |

thanks Yes, L4 low-sec agents pay marginally better than L4 high-sec agents. Due to the increased risk associated, it's my opinion they're not worth it.
I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

actually ss does effect the payout alot, 10% more per .1 lower so when u get 1000 isk payout in 1.0, u get 1500 isk in .5 u get 2000 isk in .0 and if i remember correct the same goes for lp |

Not sure about ISK. Yesterday i got two same mission from two agents in same station. Both mission in same system. One agent with more standing than another gave me less ISK than another. Both agent gave me same LP. AFAIK, each 0.1 ss +10% LP |

The real question about higher payouts in low and nul is simply does that offset the risks and potential costs of ship replacement? The answer is different for each individual so you will have to decide for yourself.
I tried lvl 4's in low and based on the marginal increase in payout / LP it would take many many months to offset the loss of a single cheap lvl 4 mission fit ship. To me the fact that a single easy to make mistake could cost months of game play time was not worth it so I no longer run lvl 4's in low.

This.
L4 missions are not worth it in lowsec. Needs to be fixed to actually encourage people to run them. Who wants to risk a mission ship for a couple more million isk?
L5s could use a boost too, along with putting some L5 agents in null. Can you say L5 pirate faction missions? |

When you get lvl4s from agent next to low-sec sometime it tries to send you to adjacent low-sec.
What if you talk to agent in low-sec? Is there a chance to be sent to adjacent high-sec?
It would be cool to use it on chance-by-chance basis between regular high-sec mission runs....

when lvl 5 agents was about to be released. pirate factions did have lvl 5 missions on sisi. how ever ccp decided that only empire factions should have lvl 5 agents.

Idle musings looking at the killboard: You know, I always wonder how so many people manage to lose their pod in lowsec. If its not smartbombs theres really no excuse. |

even so pods are almost always able to warp out, fast locking ships can't beat server ticks.
