I made a screenshot to illustrate the issue: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5700403/highlighted.png As you can see, the timer for electronic warfare is behind the word "Approaching", yet i was unable to find any means of repositioning either. When aligning the HUD to the top of the screen, the timer doesn't seem to show at all, so might be located behind the HUD. The messages that are affected by "message movement mode" do not include these two. I found a pilot who experienced the same thing, but who plays with a 16:9 resolution, so 16:10 can be ruled out as the cause. So, does anybody have more information about or better yet a solution for this? |

Maybe try main menu -> accessories -> logs and messages
Click combat settings at the top and there are some options for message alignment in space. Not sure if it will solve your exact problem but it's something to fiddle with.

Yeah those effect the damage logs coming in but won't move the ewar notifications or the action label.

Thanks for your reply, but those are also just settings for the notification and damage widget. I've also tried fiddling with UI scaling, offsetting the interface with the camera and resetting my windows' and target anchor's positions. Both the ewar widget and the one for movement remain firmly on top of each other above the HUD.
I'm beginning to wonder where they are actually supposed to be. Could someone link me a screenshot of that please?

Move the HUD to left/right. A movement string will move with HUD I don't know if EWAR bar will stay. I'll check |

I've been saying for years that every UI element should be moveable, resizable, and whatnot

Please file a bug report.
You might also post in the Little Things thread in the Features & Ideas Discussion forum. Use the format CCP Karkur indicates in the post I linked. |
