A while back there was an all girl PVP/Pirate corporation called the HellCats. They are now all but disbanded and ever since EVE has lacked a noticeably strong female presence.
We are looking to restart the hellcats (likely under a new name), but keep it still an all girl PVP corp. We already have an Alliance picked out (also ran by a gal), and a home system. It would continue to be a heavy PVP focus, with activities being small gang warfare until we have substantial numbers. Our focus will be lowsec roams/camps, 0.0 and all the fun therein, highsec wars, and eventual sov/alliance support.
At the moment, all the recruits so far have come from the WGOE (Women Gamers of Eve) Channel, and are thus pre-vetted and had voice com interviews. I plan to continue this practice for new Hellcat members. Full API's will be required for background checks as well as possible trial periods. Toons with a PVP focus are more than welcome, and we will eventually be placing a SP minimum on recruitment. We are also willing to train recruits in pvp aspects if they need some help, though it helps if you have experience in EVE in general as well. As you can expect, no trial accounts.
I've had a few inquiries about alts in the corp, and while open to the idea it largely depends on how active you are on the alt. A placeholder alt for the trophy factor of being in an all girl corp is undesirable.
Any comments or questions can be directed towards me in game or through eve mail. We are looking to get a core group of gals to get things started.
If you are a girl EVE player, and you aren't interested, then I encourage you to check out the WGOE channel regardless. You can find them at "wgoe=public".

Just as an update we've got around 5-7 potential recruits at the moment and just need a few more before we get rolling. |

I have had the honour of flying with many of the original Hellcats when they were part of The Bastards alliance and it was a great shame to see them leave and for the corp to slowly atrophy over time. The challenges of running a corp is immense, more so when you're picking from a smaller pool of potential pilots.
The Hellcats were as good as any other pirate I had flown with despite their smaller numbers and a reformation of them would only be good for EVE Online, nothing like getting your ass kicked by a girl too.
All power and good fortune to you all.
Kindest regards,
Flashfresh
