Good evening.
I'm thinking of starting a new corp for me and just a couple of friends. I've looked up most of the info I need to know (I hope! ) but there's one thing I can't seem to find any info on. How corporations and NPC standings work.
i.e. The caldari friend has been mission running and has quite a high standing with Caldari Navy. If he joins the corp, will his standing if he carries on missioning be carried over to the corp so everyone in the corp enjoys the same standings? The other chap is an Amarr and was about to start mission grinding, would the standings earned by him translate to the corp? The caldari is also a good industrial character and has high refining etc, if the Amarr chap gains high standing with his npc mission corp, would that enable the Caldari to use the amarr stations as a friend and incur less refining tax etc?
If this is explained somewhere obvious and I missed it, sorry! Please point me in the right direction and I'll quietly go on my way :)
Thanks!

Your corp's standing will go up to both the Caldari Navy and the Amarr, but currently corp standing is only used for jump clones and NBSI policy.
Your corp's standings will have no effect on the individual corp member's ability to get agents/refining tax discounts/broker fees.

Your corp's standings will go up, but won't equal the Caldari character's, or the Amarr's. It's more like an average of all your corp members, so (4+0+0+0)/4=1.

Actually only pilots with a standing towards the npc corp count.
Suppose only 1 person had a standing of 4, then the corp's standing would also be 4. This standing oddity is used a lot in getting jump clones.
They have to have no standing, not 0 standing, thus (4 + 0 + [No standing] + [No standing]) / 2 = 2
