To start I would like to thank you for finally getting to POS mechanics and editing them to better support us. We have been asking for these changes for years. With that in mind I would like to actively participate and help with the changes as possible or allowed to help facilitate the changes for the betterment of the game. I understand that very little has actually been released on the matter - this is being written as a preemptive strike on some of the issues that I/we may have.
I would also like to ask that this remain for constructive criticism by people who understand the current mechanics and who have a knowledge of what is to come. There is little information on the impending changes, but from what we have gathered, we fear the possibility of further damaging wormhole space. For example, the station fitting tools that have been released have several critical flaws, which I will point out below. Wormholes for many are a temporary place to work out of while for others this is a place of permanent residence. CCP likes eggs, and if poses are reintroduced in such a manner it may very well screw a lot of people out of a lot of isk and the possibility of easily uprooting themselves. The other major question is about the existing poses. What is to happen to them when they, at the moment, cannot meetup with any of the new revisions on pos mechanics? How will you implement this wildly new structure?

Towers / the sticks
- Reinforce Timers. There are so many pros and cons to this. I personally like the fact that its not idiot-proofed. 1d17h maxed with a chance of communication error for checking Stront timers or the chance of a nub not Stronting the towers to begin with. Stations don't have these mechanics which rely on multiple timers and a lot more work in the long run. I would hate to see x timer set for whatever hour time frame being the holders prime time. More than that we require the ease of eviction to keep wormholes clean. Wormholes are great isk and we get a lot of carebear corps and we govern our own space. People who are willing to pvp remain those who strictly carebear refuse to fight eventually get evicted if its worth our time. For this to happen most of us rely on weekend warriors who can pull long days to do a full eviction opp the right way.

*points to actual feedback threads* Try those. However station games when the station itself shoots you are likely to be far far less common. And removes the whole 'undock to 300 guys surprise sex' issue as well, even assuming CCP don't finally invent windows along side mooring. |

I would suppose it simply comes down to how much defensive capability the pos / station would actually have. In the fan fest vids it was pretty much a ship at which point 5 guns a fleet would be laughing. |

Reinforcement Timers - Without a doubt, they should be set similar to Planetary Customs Offices. Strontium should all be consumed in the process.
Reinforcement Mode - One thing I should say is the removal of CPU during reinforced mode is a key feature and should stay. Without this, anyone could just escape or set up a bunch of defenses. The penalty of using no CPU mods is you will run out of storage and the enemy can just warp away, not get jammed, or neuted.
Force Field Mechanics - Honestly are well placed. Having something push out or back in with the fairness of not locking while looking at each other as a Mexican standoff is nice. The main reason is you need a safe haven for just about anyone with a sense of home and comfort. The new possibility of mooring a ship to a structure to most would be either really daunting or a loot pi+Ķata. Having this is a crucial feature. You cant have a game without a safe haven.
Defences - The panel showing fitting a POS is a perfect way to add to it. They more than likely are going to help with setup instead of a broken green box that warps off if you hit your mouse the wrong way. Formations like the probes maybe? Presets that could be shared or corporate?
More modules should be its own discussion within its self.
Permissions - Holy Bob this NEEDS to be edited. Allowing saftey in a POS's assets and ships would make growing in a wormhole less skeptical to most.
Market abilities - This is a different one. Not a lot would be open to this idea and it removes from the alien space like unknown that is W-space. Some suggestions on this already exist for an exchange like deploy-able.
Can we make POS's cargo scannable? & How about the ability to change weather you can target from both in and out. Like the corp ability to make attacking a corp member legal or illegal. This would make it so you could shoot things inside and vise versa. It will of course have a time limit to switching and would have no visible change. You could only shoot people or cans but not structures until force field is down. Also there was some idea I came up with but my friend interrupted me and I lost my train of thought. :( Will add/edit later if I remember.

considering you can see how much activity is going on in a station based on how its animation looks i say it's fine particularly because WH should be about having limited information i'm looking forward to the new changes and i have lived in WH for years however this really should be in one of the feed back threads if you want devs to have a better chance of reading it
