OP, content wise Eve is different to most games, it feeds you very little but gives you tools to make your own. In eve you are content for others, just as they are content for you.
Exploration Incursions
Eve Uni wiki, bookmark it, read it, love it.
Be warned that you compete with other players for explorations sites and that the rewards increase as you take bigger risks such as moving to lowsec.
Incursions usually require expensive and blingy fits, as such you may find yourself a target for those that wish to take a chance at acquiring some of that bling. Ralph, the gentleman above is one of those people.
Remember rule #1 Don't fly anything that you aren't comfortable with losing.

I am a hard core PvE player. That being said Eve is not a PvE focused game. It is a PvP game and the PvE is just there to help fund the PvP. Fleet stuff is way more fun than solo but even at that incursions will get boring and repetitive. The most fun that you will have in high sec incursions will be in goofing around on coms with your fleet mates.
I'm a goofy person that likes grindy repetitive stuff so Eve PvE is fine for me. If you are looking for challenging engaging PvE Eve is not the place for you. The high cost of dying makes excessively challenging PvE not very possible in this type of game. How ever the PvP in this game is very challenging and you can combine PvE and PvP like low and null sec incursions for example. Rooks and Kings have a good video out on that.
All of that being said the most challenging PvE content that I have come across is burner missions. However I'm talking strict PvE. If you want to know what is actually the most challenging PvE that I have done that is anything in a wormhole with a high sec exit. However in that situation it wasn't the NPCs that made it challenging, it was the omnipresent potential for player generated surprise butt sex.
If you were bored running missions in high sec then try running missions in null sec. Or get some new players together and try some burner missions in a fleet. No matter how you do it all the fun in eve is with other players, this is an MMO after all. |

Thats sounds good for me so in eve pve you are more worried abaut palyers than abaut the enviroment at least in low. that sounds quite intresting

For me, PVE fun starts when you start running low sec sites in a PVP fit ship and wait for some unsuspecting sap to try and kill you.
Of course, everyone has their own idea of fun. |

Pretty much, pve players are oft likened to game, particularly when they wander out of highsec.
Believe me it s actually fairly engaging to try and evade a coordinated effort to hunt you.

Don't EVER underestimate the legnths people will go to to make -your- ship explode. I was once in a Recon ship (250m, not toooo pricey) and I got camped in a system for 3 hours by around 20 people. A lot of no-lifers in EVE (esp they probably could easily have found another 250m ship to shoot in half the time it took them to wait for me to finish my 2 league of Legends games) |

The people blocking you into the system had no way of knowing you're not actually able to fit a recon ship fully.
And also it sounds like you were in their territory and the point was to make sure you were too annoyed to come back, which seems like mission accomplished. |

I would highly recommend training towards an Incursion ship. I'd refer you to this thread to give you details on the community, the fits, and the expectations. Unfortunately the thread is locked, but it has very useful information within.
The ISK is among the best in the game for PVE content, and the "team work" (or sometimes lack thereof) is fun and always entertaining.
Good luck wherever you go!

So when you accept a mission the mission space is spawned for you however there is no way for anyone else but you to find it at that point. As soon as you warp into the mission space other's can probe you down unless you have a cloak but you can't run the mission cloaked so at some point you are scannable. There is no limitation or restrictions on who or how many other players can join you in your mission space be them friendly or otherwise.
Wormhole sites have to be scanned down to run them and anyone can probe them out. They can then wait there cloaked for someone to warp into them or come and find you while you are running one. Certainly if you are running PvE sites in low sec or null sec you will often have people coming after you. In high sec it's more limited to busy systems and even then the engagement mechanics are more complicated. It's possible once you get to know the locals to run PvE in low and null sec without being bothered too much. It's also possible to become one of the people doing the hunting.
The main point that I meant to portray to you is that at heart Eve is a PvP game. Even the PvE is intended to incorporate PvP or at the very least the potential for PvP. Once you undock there is nowhere in game that you can go that you are 100% safe from PvP. Also that if you are looking for the most fun and challenging content in Eve it involves PvP.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGIWirJDZgY That is a video of Rooks and Kings running a null sec incursion and having a larger hostile fleet jump in on top of them while they have aggro and are taking damage from the NPCs. I think it does a decent job of showing you what that can be like as they mix in the targeting of one of their dps ships with one of their logi ships so you see both ends of it. |
