One thing I thought of about MJD's is it's spool time, for example you could neut that pesky interceptor to loose it's scram, however during the spool time it could just hit it once, and afaik you can't then jump, and then are stuck.
My proposed fix is this:
Either if it gets scrammed, reset the cooldown. This would make a lot of people happy. And I'm not sure how easy it would be set up the parameters for this programming wise, but maybe after a successful jump it starts the cooldown.
Another possible change which could be nice to have either way, is a unique overload function for it.
Upon overloading (will need to pre-heat for it to work) it completely negates the spool up time, however upon activation and jump the module get's completely burnt out after one jump and due to "external factors" of some sort you cant warp for a certain amount of time, (if put at say 30 seconds, the 4km/s average inty can catch it with 5 seconds to spare, and tackle ships like othrus/recons, should be able to get into point range before they can warp.)
Or following the same overloading loosing the spool time, perhaps it only jumps half the distance?
If you are only pointed not scrammed you can still jump how it is now, so that is fixed, however the window for neuting/jamming a scram can be too small sometimes (especially if dealing with multiple scrams) and I've often seen BC's die to this.

How about, the longer you get to spool up, the further you jump. If you neut out the interceptor, and you manage to get 50% through the cycle before you get scrammed again, you jump 50km. Not sure if it could be "abusable" with friends tho |

Not sure if it could be "abusable" with friends tho That might work, however my fear with that is someone holding off scram then as soon as they see the effect activate it (you might only be say 5% through the spool up, so you would only go 5km...) could also be abusable, however would make for some interesting tactics, they are 75km off, so careful timing of people scramming each other to get most of them to jump right place (or use ur inty's and tackle frigs to do this) |

I wasn't referring specifically to battleships, however I'm sure with either of my proposed ideas it could make them a litte more... usable? |
