Thanks for the response Jiekon, and everyone. While I understand that you cannot SUPPORT an OS that hasn't even been released yet, I have found EVE to run well under Vista already. I just wanted to get a bit of a head start on my format if noone had Kali running under Vista. I love how Vista looks and feels, but I can do without it, while I can't do without my EVE...hehe.
Thanks for the feedback folks.

I'm running Vista x64 final (RTM) and eve runs without problems. Never had to change DEP settings for eve to run.

Vista is a sin and a money making tool to fix something that isnt broken... cling to xp while you can citizens... and then look for fixes to run vista crap on xp.... for vista will be the downfall of mankind.

It will now, they removed the vivox software from the test patches. If vivox is included with the release it may cause problems again. ----

Shame some people have yet to connect them.

I've been using Vista too long to go back to XP.
When the patch is deployed later today it will be like jumping into 0.0 with a freighter -- either it will be fine or I'll have to ctrl-q into something else for a while |
