Freedom of Choice, a relatively young Corp, is looking for pilots that have just started playing or have been playing for a few months. We are looking for players with in all vocation areas. Best situation would be if you are Caldari, live in the EST time zone, are older than 20 years and plan to be fairly active. The Corporation is looking to create a well rounded group of like minded pilots .... of course to take over the universe.
Background: Freedom of Choice was created as a pirate Corp. Since its creation, the Originating members have left Eve. Due to know one else possessing skills or will to take over the corp, Sckoarn Gnowere trained and took over the position. The Corp has a little collection of "stuff" and cash. The direction of the Corp is currently evolving, so we do not consider ourselves pirates and I, the CEO, think there are better things to do than camp gates.
I, Sckoarn Gnowere, have been involved in MMORPG for 13+ years. I started in EQ where I lead a PvP guild on Tallon Zek (Dawning Eclipse) for 3 years. After that I played SWG, WOW, GW and now Eve Online. I have been playing Eve for just over 3 months and have a second level mining barge and Raven that I am doing my level III missions with. With a Corp mate we did our first level 4 mission as a two pilot gang just at the start of Nov. (it was tough) I have used the Corp to assist me in my progression, and also have used the Corp to aid in the progression of our current member base. It is obvious that a Corp can not progress with out members.
The player group is supported by Forums and Ventrilo. The Corp supports players by supplying attachments (base level), most ammo, some ships and blue prints for Battle Cruisers, Battle Ships and others. When a member qualifies, there is also a signing bonus.
It is the Corps goal to get new members into a Raven as soon as they are skilled enough to successfully use one. This assumes they are doing missions and are on a Combat skill trail. If it is mining, then the Corp will assist the member to getting the equipment / skills needed to maximize your output.
FoC has a small, mature and friendly member base. If any of the above sounds like what you are looking for, please feel free to post up here, or to contact Sckoarn Gnowere in game.
