The following is a recording from a science vessel in the New Eden Gate system Onboard was Pilot Taylor Biggins and Scientist Jackson Kirk my brother ----Begin Transmission---- Taylor: We seem to have a strange anomaly pop up on scan, we are going to probe it out
Jackson Kirk: Looks like a wormhole jettison the test subjects lets check it out
Taylor: Not getting any reading on what system it leads to, It is not on any of our databases.
Jackson Kirk: Well that what we are here to do dumbass explore.
Taylor: What do you want me to do?
Jackson Kirk: Report our last know location lets go through to the other side check it out.
---Static for about 1 minute---
Taylor: I have 10+ boogies on radar
Jackson Kirk: Burn for the wormhole we need to get back to New Eden!
Unknown Contact: This is the Venus Intergalatic Military state your business
Taylor: 10km from the wormhole
Unknown Contact: Identify yourself or be fired upon
*Static from ship taking fire*
Taylor: 2500meters!
---End Transmission---
We recovered the black box near their last recorded location no bodies were found only parts of the ship were found the "wormhole" they found was closed. I think that when they were shot parts of the ship made it through the wormhole parts of the wreckage. ammo residue on parts of the hull is being scanned but is not matching anything. Their system was unknown and we have no idea who the unknown contact was... Any ideas? I want to know what happened to my brother and where his corpse could be.

... um, respectfully, this ... sounds like a nickname for a band of Anoikis capsuleers who haven't gotten around to registering a corporation yet.
Or something.
Your brother was aboard a conventional vessel? ... exploring Anoikis in such a ship seems ...
... hazardous.
Not that it seems to stop the Serpentis, Guristas, Blood Raiders, or anyone else though.
((Maverick? Not to discourage your efforts, but Terran-type plot lines are generally taboo. Personal plots are lovely things, but Earth and the Milky Way generally is a distant and long-faded memory on the other side of an insanely dangerous collapsed intergalactic anomally. Any plotline involving ye olde Milky Way galaxy is strictly CCP's domain. "Earthists" are regarded as conspiracy theorist freaky people.
((In other words, even if this plot of yours isn't actually what it looks like ("We found a wormhole back to the Milky Way!"), many will shy away from it because of what it looks like. You may wish to consider changing the name of your hostiles to make the implications a bit less epic.
((A band of trigger-happy mercenaries with a grandiose name living in Anoikis is entirely believable. We're kind of up to our eyeballs in them.)) |

Your brother and his men made a very amateur mistake of entering an unknown system without backup, we have a database of these things for a reason. If they found a spot in W-Space that hasn't been at the very least documented as existing then this is relatively startling news, especially the fact that the attackers spoke to the crew in an understandable language.
I'd suggest you report this to a corporation that deals in Wormhole affairs, if there is an undocumented area of W-Space that has hostiles waiting at any entrances with a small fleets worth of forces ready to kill, this could be a worrisome issue to say the least. |

Like a Thanatos kill I got right On It and carried out a superficial investigation.
Firstly I discovered no DED records at all relating to a capsuleer by the name of Taylor Biggins, and so Galnet kill records of course turned up no information regarding the loss of any vessels to said "pilot". I did find a very old registration file for a capsuleer known as Jackson Kirk, however, though records indicate he hasn't flown for a long time.
This leads me to believe the vessel in question may have been piloted by baseliners. Exploring Anoikis as a baseliner would not only be an extraordinary feat but also be extremely unwise. If Mr Kirk's story is true then the terminology used by those onboard during the 'incident' would lend belief that they didn't know what they were doing or where they were.
Coupled with the lack of any information regarding a group known as the Venus Intergalactic Military, and the unlikely report of wreckage being found on the opposite side of the wormhole (impossible to the best of my knowledge) I'm left believing that if legitimate then those involved in this event truly had no idea what was happening to them or where they were, thus very little in the reported incident should be given credence.
I'm filing this one away in Iso5's booster-abuse incident drawer.

Let this be a lesson kids. Don't wonder into wormholes uninvited without backup, a cloaking device, or both..... for that matter, don't wonder into a wormhole without those things even if you were invited.
