Hello everyone, I'm kinda a noob at eve outside of running missions and I need serious help in getting started doing these incursions and I have no idea where to go or how to get started. I'll have Amarr & Caldari BS trained to lev 4 with both armor/shield tanking skills which I was told was the bare minimum. Can some please direct with where I need to go to join a fleet or channel that would help me. |

Which is preferred B/T armor or shield tank? What are the best times to try and join a fleet? where do you go to find out where incursions are gonna take place before hand? DO you have any protection if your very expensive ship get blapped? Is it overcrowded? How much isk can you make an hour running incursions right now?

i dont do them anymore tbh as it was just tediously boring, the fits they require should be on the site i linked. you only have protection from concord and logi for protcting yourself so if you are traveling use a travel fit for your boat. and dont autopilot
isk/hour = anything from 90mil-200mil an hour

If you want to get as much information as you can about communities running incursions I would recommend joining channel Incursion Public ingame - they are listing mostly all active incursion communities and there you'll be able to join different channels that will fit you. Most of those communities have their own mailing lists or even websites and you'll be able to read a lot of information about incursions and fleets that run them.
It's good to try several different channels and see which fits your time zone, play style and general set of mind. For example above mentioned The Valhalla Project is really good incursion community, but due to their popularity and high numbers you might need to spend quite a long time on waitlist especially while you are new. And additionally the time when TVP was very Noob-friendly is long in its past - now they press on efficiency and that means less spots for new pilots on prime time. So you might get better chances to start off with you first Incursion experience in some smaller incursion communities who might have worse isk/hour numbers, but you'll get into active fleet faster there.
Regarding the actual income it may vary a lot depending on fleet you are running in, the sites this fleet is able to do and even some luck of getting most beneficial sites spawning for your fleet. Lan Wang wrote that it's 90mil-200mil and it's about right numbers. I'd say that a fleet of new pilots that are not effective, payouts can drop down to 60 mil per hour, but you'll get some additional LP and cashing them out will bring you close to 80-90 even then. Regarding 200 mil. .... well that might be possible with really good fleet and luck in spawning the sites, but that won't be always and won't be 23/7 - you'll have good days and you'll have bad too... even in the most shiny of the "shiny networks" nothing personal |

Thank you for you help! How long does it take to become efficient at running incursions if you do it 36-40 hours a week (done within the 3 days I'm off each week) ? |

It takes couple hours to adapt and then couple weeks to stop doing critical mistakes. TVP has couple spots for newbros but it may take a while till you get into fleet. WTM is more newbie friendly but it comes at the cost (a bit longer sites and a bit higher risk of losing ships).
You better start with inexpensive scimitar or T1 battleship (with t2 guns and shield modules) to adapt - there is certainly a chance you'll lose your ship during first couple weeks.
During first week warn people in fleets you are new so logis may decide to pay more attention to your ship. |

Thank you for this info. And here I was gonna bling the hell out of my NM ( a 3bill isk hull) with the hopes of getting into a fleet faster as I read somewhere that the blingy your ship is the faster you get accepted into fleets. So experience IS important afterall. Well my Amarr and Caldari BS skills are only at lev 4 so umm do you have any other suggestions on a ship that would get accepted into a fleet without waiting half a day?
My thoughts would be a Navy Apoc or another NM with only T2 fittings. Thoughts? |

Your reputation is the most important thing here. When you have already run with some FCs, if you've done a good job you're most likely to get fleeted with them in a reasonable period of time. You have to be patient and "make your hole" in your community. A shiny NM will always be fleeted before a NApoc.
However, your best bet if you want to start off with incursions is to join a corp used to run them. You'll know when your corp run and you're 100% sure to be fleeted after your 30 jump in your blingy BS. |

Do you know of any trust worthy noob friendly incursion corp that's recruiting atm? If I start out with a blingy NM, do these incursion corp offer any kind of insurance in case I get blapped?

Try WTM, they are extremely newbro freindly, and it's first come first served, so you wont be passed over for a shiny ship (they even let me fly my domi while I saved up for a vindi ) They also offer an SRP program were you pay into it and you're protected from FC and logi error, as well as other things on an individual basis.
They are a very friendly bunch, and do anything they can to help newbros out. Join their channel (Warp To Me Incursions) and in the motd it'll list were they are running, and if they are actively running. They tend to have a fleet up 23/7. I've personally never had much trouble getting into a fleet. I think I once waited over 15 minutes, other than that I've gotten into fleet pretty fast.
Since they are more open to newer people and less blingy ships, sight times are a little slower, but you still easily make over 100 mil/hr plus LP, so I wouldn't recommend writing them off |

Ty, Ty, Ty, so much Sheeth, If this works out, I'm adding you as a friend throughout my days in eve (and may even toss a few trinkets your way when I'm establish). Do you have any suggestions on a Solid ship? I have 20.5 Mill SP, can fly NM and most of Amarr BS (at lev 4) with T2 Beams & Pulses. I can armor and shield as well. |
