Relating to the release and subsequent deaths of the Minmatarian slaves due to a lack of Vitoc antidote. Does anyone know how the slaves are being transported from Amarrian space? Are they available on the open market, or is an official Amarrian convoy being organised and does anyone know when and where this/these will be moving from? And finally does anyone know the (game) mechanics of keeping them alive?
On behalf of the families and friends of the slaves Minmatar, I emplore you to aid in what ever what ever way you can to put a stop to the death of these inocent civilians.

Edited by: Erai on 08/11/2003 16:47:45 I would dearly like to know how, where, and when vitoc is transported- the only way in which more deaths can be prevented- or at least delayed would be providing the victims with the stuff. And buying it from the Amarrians, is ok if all else fails, but raiding these kinds of transports sounds like a much, much better course of action.
edit: erm, of course I am available if you are planning actions, whether they be peaceful or with a proportial amount of force. Only question left: where should any kind of aid be delivered? |

well why not go to amarr space and scan the cargo holds of the haulers??? I mean c'mon, just think about it. What would make more sense then the 3 most hated alliances teaming up to lay waste to the people they all hate anyways? CA is already allied with PA, and TPS lies between the two alliances. Natural allies to be sure. But it's not just that, all but PA (and even some of them) have adopted a "stfu and die, or come and fight us, we don't give a **** what you think or do" philosophy, as well as a PvP Kill everyone not friend kind of mentality. These are the people in eve that kill or convert, the ones dedicated to the death of others, because history, circumstance, and the rest of eve have driven then to do so (except TPS, who are just cool ass pirates ). |

For every slave you "rescue" (kill by vitoc withdrawal syndrome) we shall execute two more.

There's currently no in-game mechanism for Minmatar players to liberate slaves.
Harass a dev with this idea today. Eventually, they'll stop making jokes about "recycling slaves for food" and start taking us seriously.
Gradient is hiring. Read our Code of Conduct before applying.

I've heard that vitoc can be found in supply vessels in Amarr and Ammatar space, if one wanted to stockpile a quantity of it for whatever purpose.
My sources indicate plantation stations frequently traffic in vitoc, among other goods.
Erai, you may wish to speak to high ranking officials in our corporation, who may know more about this issue.

Latest news seems to suggest Minmatar should look within their own space and hierarchy to see how the slave trade is operated.

Please do...
as i have always said, death is easy, life is difficult. you are simply freeing the minds of your oppressed ones.
i chose death over life every day as a slave, only imprisonment saved me from my suicide both as a slave and when i was recovering. today i choose to take the lives of slaves instead of not being able to save them.

Who cares about these stupid Minmatar dogs? They make for a soft surface to walk across, I can see no other use for them.

There is no slave farm in Minmatar space. There are no Minmatar slaving convoys. It's all smoke and mirrors, and none of it's actually in game. We can talk about freeing slaves, and executing slavers, but talk is all it is. The option to do so is not in game.
Ladies and gentlemen, wake up! Eve is NOT a roleplaying game.
To be honest, I might as well give up playing the actual game, and stick to ranting on the forums about rescuing slaves, and killing slavers. I've just as much, if not more chance of actually affecting the way things are going, and the forums don't use nearly as much resources, or make my system as unstable as the client does.
The forums are beautiful. They give us a chance to make wild claims and concoct stories that we just flat can't duplicate in game, and we can't be held to account for.
Some of you may have read the thread I started on the summit, regarding a vote of no confidence, or read the article Beringe wrote. Prime examples. I know the vote will never make it off the forums. I'd be very surprised if anyone on the dev team, with the exception of t0rfiFranz, actually knows it's going on.
Karin Midular is an agent ingame. One you can't talk to or interact with in any way. She doesn't even say "Come meet me in person at X station in Y system."
What is the point of having an immersive and engaging plotline with bags of potential if you can't engage it, and immerse yourself in it in-game?
If it was possible to recycle slaves for megacyte and zydrine, there would actually be some point in being freedom fighters, "liberating" slaves.
