Dear citizens of New Eden.
I am aware that many have you have put great effort into analysing the new threat on various levels and I do not seek to usurp your hard work. As always however information remains our greatest weapon. To this end I seek to compile a database of everything currently known. All sources of information will be correctly credited, I ask only that you give me what information you have available. This resource will be invaluable to those attempting to withstand the threat.
Thankyou in advance.

Though not necessarily useful for what you're doing, I found this picture showing the vastness of their military forces from the recent Hilen Tukoss broadcast, in this single from there are 161 ships, all presumably battleships so it really show their military strength.

Correction, there are 162 Drifter battleships in that frame. The 162nd ship is directly to the left of the 161st. |

You are correct, I didn't notice that last one. |

Hey there. We were doing some reports on the matter. You can look though them here.
Good luck with the paperwork.
When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

Frakking Drifters.
I lost an almost new Nightmare to a couple of Drifter battleships when I quite ignorantly targeted one that I came across in my home system. I had seen some reports about Drifter sightings but due to being in nullsec I don't see many mainstream Empire news reports. I have been making a far greater effort now to learn more about them.
I lost close to 3000 very experienced crew members in that very short engagement. Most of whom had been with me for years.
These efforts to better understand what they want and how to combat them are very important.
You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel.

I have encountered the Drifters on multiple occasions through out imperial space and they have yet to engage my ship, it has been my experience through direct contact and observation of their interactions with other capsuleers that they are not aggressive until a capsuleer initiates conflict, at which point they act swiftly and with extreme prejudice.
I am thus of the opinion that their previous incursions into empire space have been for the purpose of gathering detailed information about us, our civilization, and our occupied space, and that any current military buildup on their part is likely in retaliation to hostilities which capsuleers have initiated.
To this end I will continue to remain vigilant, exercise discernment, and await orders from the Ministry of War and other official intelligence channels within the Amarr empire, if this is indeed something capsuleers have instigated through our wanton acts of hostility and destruction than God help us all. |

Well I was fairly wantonly hostile, however given that I live in lawless space far far distant from any form of offical governing body, myself and my fellows are required to defend our home systems aggressively. It is clear that even powerful capsuleer ships are vulnerable to Drifters. Under normal circumstances any non friendly vessels detected in our space are pursued vigorously until they either leave or are destroyed. With the Drifter we are forced to retreat and monitor them from a distance in cloaked covert ops ships. They don't seem interested in our resources or planets, however the threat they pose and our inability to counter them is frustrating.

From some small observations of multiple Drifter gatherings, it seems like the ships are all controlled by the same person. This could explailn why the Jovians are having problems. If they are splitting their minds and trying to operate mulitple ships, this could have a bad effect on their mental state. |

I have few observations i will share with you once i'll have retrieved the data files dating from few months ago made at close range while in covops, for some reasons i had to stop those studies until now. I'll contact you directly as soon as i can. Files are on the Drifters ship and also concerning their wh. No revolutionnary elements. |
