current lows are 1 MAR II 1 damage cont 1 800 crysta. plate 1 True sanshas exp hardner
has 3747 hp in armour with plate but without plate has around 1800hp is it better with more resists or more hp? -----------------------------------------------

It's pretty easy to see for your self. Just calculate how much "raw" HP increase you get when you fit more resists vs the hp a plate gives you.
If you figure that an EANM II reduces the incoming damage by another 20% over your base armor you get 1800*20%= 360HP gained.
while the plate gives you 1560 HP (and you even get the base resist over this, so you end up with even more "raw" HPs)
so it's pretty simple. _________________________________________________________

Edited by: Lubricity on 10/11/2006 12:43:53 MARII = 320HP/9.6s = 33.333 unresisted HP/sec (assuming Repair Systems 4)
Rep amounts without EANMII: 60% EM = 83.333 dmg/sec 59.5% Exp = 82.304 dmg/sec 83.75% Kin = 205.128 dmg/sec 67.5% Therm = 102.564 dmg/sec
Rep amounts with EANMII: 68% EM = 105.167 dmg/sec 67.6% Exp = 102.88 dmg/sec 87% Kin = 256.41 dmg/sec 74% Therm = 128.21 dmg/sec
Time in seconds for the difference to catch up with a plate, thus simulating how long you have to be in a fight for the resists to pay off over the plate: EM = 80.64s Exp = 81.65s Kin = 32.76s Therm = 65.52s
==============================
So basically, if you plan on fighting a target or two for up to 1.5 minutes [ain't gonna happen in PVP], the resists will do you better. I'm assuming this is not the case, so I would go with the plate. Oh, and use a rolled tung plate... you're flying an Ishtar afterall, don't be cheap with it's mods.
