change the system so someone's PVP flag does not reset when jumping though a gate, if they were shot at have a 15 min countdown regardless of jumping same as criminal flag...but without re-aggro from gate guns. Works well in 00 too.

Personally, I would prefer they just do away with the emergency warp if you are aggro'd or inside a bubble all together. That would eliminate 99.9% of the logging to save my ship/implant exploiters. As far as I am conserned the very very very few who legitimatly ctd and die are acceptable losses.

Agreed, this is the only change that needs to happen, stop emergency warping in bubbles = problem solved. --- (.)(.) These are boobs. No need to copy and paste them into your sig, they have already gained world domination. Sorry Bunny. |

If you log out in space, your ship and pod should stay there for 30 minutes or more whether you were shot at or not. Gate campers with a scout on the other side shouldn't be able to SS and log. That gets old.

I can't agree with that though. The 15 minute aggro timer is fine for me cause it gives a reasonable time to get a covert ops in there and probe out the logged off ship. If a pilot can get his ship to a SS and wait out the aggro timer or move around enough to avoid getting scanned out then fair play.
This is mostly directed to those ppl who just hop thru a gate. Look around cloaked and decide, "OMG! I should have used a scout. Oh well Ill just log off and use a game mechanic in an unintended way to save my self."
Just some examples for you.
First is the guy mentioned above. He jumps thru a gate with no scout and his screan loads. He realizes that his is inside a interdictor bubble and that he is going to die from a bad case of stupidity. He knows his 8 wcs in all his lows will not save him, so he just logs off before he decloaks and lets the emergency warp save him from the bubble.
Next is the guy who is happly hunting around the belts minding his own buisness. He has not paid attention to local and suddenly realizes to late when an interdictor drops out of warp on him and pops a bubble. He now is paying attention to local and of course it is going up as he realizes he is the guest of honor at the local BBQ. Quickly he logs off and lets the all powerful emergency warp save him once again.
They dont even have to be bubbled for this to save them. It is all to common these days (read about 70% of the time) they log even when there is no interdictor bubble. In the first example the emergancy warp saves them from all the intercepters getting points on them in time to stop them. In the second example they log off to save thier pod. Fortunatly, if they already got enough points on the npc hunter his ship will not warp when he logs but his pod will along with his huge isk investment in implants.
