Dear Community,
I have noticed that when you look at the skill, Cybernetics, the section "Required For" has only one drop down menu called "Implants and Boosters". While the first implants are implants that are used for extra missile damage, and shields, etc. There should be another drop down menu for just Implants that go into skill training.
Maybe CCP should try and diversify Implants into two categories rather than clumping them all into one section.
Something I just thought of to try and maybe make easier for players.
Thanks,
Vlad |

You mean something like "Attribute Enhancers" and "Skill Hardwirings"?
Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Pretty much, something that divides the two into more defined roles. I knos that they both go into your head, but the purpose of one is totally different than the other.
Thanks for the reply,
Vlad

NOOOOOOOOOO never.
The second you add any skills that effect training time they become a instant requirement for any newb before they start playing resulting in them not touching the game for a week or two and not actually getting much out of their trial time.

actually, I think this is an excellent idea, especially as they're distinguished in the market......
For posting an idea into F&I:
come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it.....
If your idea can be abused, it WILL be.

Not to disagree with the general notion that learning skills are bad; however, I disagree with the notion that additional training acceleration is a must for people. I might sound like a broken record as of late but I have never used implants to maximize my skill training speed and yet I can fly a wide variety of ships and can pursue a wide variety of activities in EVE for a very long time now. There is no need for maximized skill training speed, there never has, there never will be. It is only a broken construct in your heads that you impose onto yourself.
