What if my spaceship gets destroyed? Is there an automatic way to re-purchase it with similar settings in case that I have enough ISK?
Thank you! |

There is a tab on the market interface called "quickbar" that allows you to drag and drop your saved fittings so you have a nice list from which to buy.
If you don't already have it saved, you can look at you loss mail to see how it was fit. (Found on your character sheet under the "Combat Log" tab.

So I can re-buy a ship with all fittings automatically set to its original slot? |

Tip: buy multiple hulls and fittings for anything (read everything) theirs even a remote chance of losing.
You can also insure Tec one ships to help soften the blow when the inevitable happens, just don't bother with insurance on Tec two ships

This is a good place to start.

As Ralph has said, knowing how to fit your ship is an invaluable skill; you're in the ideal position to learn how to do it without spending gobs of isk.
Your fits will depend on what you want to do in Eve, PvP and PvE fits are usually very different.

In case you haven't realized, losing a ship in EVE is a very common occurrence. Our vessels are more Durex than Starship Enterprise. Use and abuse them, keep a stack of them ready, different fits for different uses.
Welcome, and have fun!

On your fitting screen you do have a "Fit" button that if you have all of the modules and rigs in your hangar will fit the ship that you are in exactly how the saved fitting has them. If you do not have everything it will fit what it can. So yes if you have everything you can quickly jump into a new ship and hit one button and be fit and ready to go.
You can also import and export fits to and from the in-game fitting UI.
Learning how to use EFT ( Eve Fitting Tool ) and / or other fitting apps along with the in-game fitting screen and how to efficiently use the market are two of the biggest parts of this game. They cover pretty much everything that you will do and every play style. |

When you lose a ship you contact the person who shot you out of space and ask what you did wrong.
It's not a What-if. It'll definitely happen and you need to learn from it.

Confirming this also! Many times the aggressor will help you in learning and understanding what happened, why it happened and then suggest ways to counter the next time. Eve may be cold and cruel, but believe me, there are great people who will go out of their way to help!

Ships are made by players, fittings are made by players (or looted and resold by players), and all are sold on the market by players in "packaged" form. So the closest you can come to "give me my ship back" is to write down or add to the market "favorites" the ship itself and the fittings that you prefer; you still have to buy them individually and put them in. Because prices vary. And because people will take advantage if you're in a remote area and charge you a ton for stuff that could be cheaper elsewhere.
The economy is basically a player-run thing.
Also, as suggested above, it's better to buy 5x the ship and 5x the fittings and have them all set up and ready to go. Because once you're in PVP (like in a war for example), the enemy won't give you a break so you can go shopping for another ship. You'll TRY to go but they'll just shoot you down as soon as you undock. So build up your war machines ahead of time.
Some of the mission agents in this game offer "locator" services. We pay 100k and can find your location in about 3 minutes. Anywhere on the map. Also, we can add you to our contacts list and that will tell us when you're on and when you're offline. So you can't really hide in this game; once you're in a war you are fighting every minute you spend in-space. Your enemies won't stop until they've had their fun, long past when it's no longer fun for you.
And definitely no time to go shopping. |

Eve may be cold and cruel, but believe me, there are great people who will go out of their way to help! Worth noting that we (generally speaking) like to inflict losses upon said newbie beforehand for a number of reasons
1) because we like to shoot people in the face
2) because we can shoot you in the face
3) because shooting you in the face will tell us (via your reaction) wether or not you can handle an unexpected loss (or a number of them) thus enabling us to gauge if it's worth spending any of our limited game time talking to you.

I need to check out Hello Kitty Island Adventure. It must be a good game as people in EvE tell me all the time that I should be playing it.
