It is somewhat unfortunate that TSA has decided that their diplomatic efforts must be conducted in the context of a public forum, as doing so puts substantial restrictions on what diplomats can say and do in terms of resolving conflicts. However, as that die has been cast I shall respond here - once - for the enjoyment of our readers.
It must be noted that we did not initially send Terms to TSA. We waited a period of time to allow the alliance to become aware of our seriousness and to understand some of the consequences of failure to comply with the forthcoming terms. Additionally, certain TSA members have expressed frustration to us because they did not understand what it would take to end the war. BSUN feels that now is the appropriate time to reveal these Terms.
Whether TSA does or does not believe the Terms given are valid in no way diminishes the situation in which they find themselves. They are currently involved in a highly asymmetric conflict, as they have noted, wherein their forces cannot be properly brought to bear. It is true that BSUN will not fight TSA toe-to-toe, for to do so would play to TSAs strengths and not our own. As such, TSA can expect to see continued disruption of their operations until such time as a suitable arrangement has been made.
In terms of BSUN's alleged ineffectiveness in disrupting TSA operations, after seven days of warfare TSA has suffered enough losses to pay for the Terms many times over, including a Hulk and a very nicely-fitted Bustard. Given the unbalanced nature of the conflict, it is reasonable to conclude that additional losses of similar magnitude will be suffered in the future, making the Terms seem quite cost-effective as a method of resolution.
Had this diplomatic effort not been spurned in such an unprofessional manner, it might have been possible for TSA to come to an arrangement which results in a less public display of their inability to protect their members, and which would not have necessitated their sad play to the community for sympathy and support.
However, as the Emissary of the Consortium, I remain at the disposal of legitimate and professional diplomatic overtures which will, of course, be held in the strictest confidence.
Good day.

Kraknall, I hate to disappoint you, but the war was only temporarily suspended due to a glitch in the patch which caused our alliance to spontaneously disband (taking the war with it.) I assure you that once this issue is resolved we will continue the conflict, and posting about it here will not make it stop any sooner nor win you any points with the Eve community whose validation you so clearly crave.
Apologies to everyone else for this episode of 'Days of Our Lives.' Jahnweh Director of Diplomacy The Black Sun Consortium |
