This has happened twice to me today now. I go to sell something on the market. I'm selling to a buy order, i click "sell" and then it makes a sell order .01 isk higher than the sell order. Which means i now have to go and cancel my order 5min later and try again. Is this a bug, some kind of market pvp, or am i doing something wrong?

Are you taking note of the amounts that you're selling and the amounts on the buy orders? I think any extra that you're trying to sell beyond what fits in the buy order will automagically create a sell order. |

Use the 'Immediate' option from the drop-down menu on the bottom left of the Sell window and it will not list any excess (for the buy order you price matches) on the market. Also you don't need to cancel a sell order, you can modify it using the same context menu you get when right clicking the order, just lower the price to match a buy order.

Also, I believe that if you do not set to "immediate" you get charged a brokers fee for setting up an order, even if you match exact amount and price. |

If you are being undercut or outbid by 0.01, don't worry about it, unless the other order would take a long time to fill.
i.e. check the daily trade volume and current stock on the market before placing orders. |
