Edited by: Tricit on 19/11/2006 01:33:51 Edited by: Tricit on 19/11/2006 01:30:03 First of all, to anyone who has played on my side, you know I am trustworthy and not an alt.
Yesterday, I joined Ganja Unlimited. I thought, "Cool, a corp with abundant NPC corps that give us Clones, 40+mil SP characters in abundance with several capital ships each. Oh and look, our CEOs raven shoots Torpedoes it a delay of 4 seconds! How interesting..." Well, maybe that last thing was an exaggeration, but you will see what I mean.
So I join them, and I have been looking into ISS share prices lately. One might ask, "Why is a 4 month old player looking into ISS share prices?" Well maybe because I read the forums a lot, speak to older players who are involved and share holds, and aquire the knowledge in other modes. So I decide, I would ask my corp that I've been in for less than a day about ISS shares. I assumed, that because they live so close to major ISS station, that they would have some insight.
I learned recently simply by reading the forums that Dusk and Dawn has some hostility towards ISS because of "shadey business." I insert this knowledge that I have aquired into my well educated paragraph shaped question. They don't respond to my question but rather ask me why I get into this business.
So the next day, I watch the text of one of the corps pilot display his Cerberus setup. I said, "Wow, 30% EM resistance, you've got a gaping hole there." Later, I come to find that Electro Magnetic damage is almost never paid attention to by them, and that perhaps this behavior is common in the Northern Alliances. I go on to tell them that this is kind of the similar situation that allowed Goonswarm to alpha slap on their first system invasions so easily. Not necessarily that it had to do with damage type, but just that they found a gaping hole in coalition forces, and acted on their knowledge.
I will not get into the complex logic that I used to come up with how they assaulted on the coalitions weak spots, I am just very learning about what happens all throughout EVE and make good notes to myself on it.
So then I get a private convo from the Diplomatic Director. He says, "speak up, or you'll be kicked, who's your main?"
I tell him I am no one's alt, I have no other main than Tricit. This is my first and only character. "Does my intelligence, logic and intuitive style bother you?" I don't ask, but rather think to myself. He says, "tell me or you're kicked." I say, I am no one's alt. So now, here I am, I am going to be kicked in 22 hours for not telling them something that isn't true. I then later tell him what I thought before.
I just want to say, if you're a smart and intuitive newbie, try to hide it, or some corporations will think you're an alt.

Crap. The gaping hole in our defenses has been exposed. Or perhaps our gambit of fitting 3 em hardners will now make us totally immune to invaders weapons.

Tricit - I have been in close contact with many members of Ganja...makes sense, since Ganja is a member of our alliance. Now, complain all you want about not getting your questions answered, but when you go pod-killing corp mates in empire (taking advantage of the lack of concord intervention), you deserve to get kicked. Matter of fact, I think that makes you KOS!
Oh, and yes... we have the killmails to prove it, too.

Tricit.. as i wasn't online at time (and i guess the chat happened either in private or corp) i can't confirm or deny what was said, however since you started firing on corp members in empire knowing they can't defend themselves as they a new to game etc.. you deserve everything thats coming...

It's a big conspiracy from the posters on the ships and mods forum to show that Amarr aren't crap and actually pwn. Or something. /tinfoil

OP makes no distinction there. For all we know, the cerb setup was for a plex runner up north so a huge EM hole would make sense.
Oh wait should I be in panic mode?

No one told me I had to set up differently
Seriously, to anyone playing Eve for longer than a week, I would have thought it was obviously considered a PvE set up. No ?
