I believe that there should be a removal of standing penalty for podkilling someone flashing criminal that is in an NPC corp. They have broken the law and the ones helping enforce it are getting hit with penalties because some people want to be in those corps and engage in illegal activities. There is no security status loss for it, so let's make things even for the rest of it. Or, is CCP stating that the NPC corps actively support people that do those actions and oppose people that try to assist CONCORD in enforcing the law? |

CONCORD doesn't pod so why should you get a complete free pass to pod some guy in an NPC corp? Besides it is the NPC corp that is giving you the decreased standings not CONCORD who has completely sanctioned your action by applying no security hit. In the lore NPC corps are not bound or subservient to CONCORD and can dislike whomever they wish.
Eve is a game of consequences. If you want to pod people, you have to accept that they, and their corp (NPC or otherwise) won't look kindly on that action - just ask any lowsec PvPer about the consequences of podding people. Don't want the consequences? Then don't pod people. |

it shouldn't look down on that fact the criminals of their corp are being blasted, unless of course that npc corp is a criminal organization

- megacorporations will (and have) hire mercs to kill people/ships/establishments of rival megacorporations of the same faction/race/nation in order to get a bigger profit margin.
- factions/races/nations willfully overlook slavery, mass murder, and espionage in order to curry favor with other factions/races/nations and even capsuleers to gain an advantage.
- scientists will sabotage their life's work in order to kill the man sleeping with his wife.
Yeah... in a universe full of "grey" the only reliable way say who is "guilty" is to know who shot first and who killed who's pod. (i.e. the victor IS the "guilty party"... there are no "innocents" in EVE)
