The more I read about Vista, the less I want to install it. The only thing tying me to the Windoze OS right now is EVE. Hows the linux version coming along? IS CCP planing to release a Linux version at any time in the future?

Eve is also the only thing holding me back from dumping windows.
A Linux and or a Mac version is very much wanted.

ccp is at least patting transgaming's backs for overcoming all those nice sticks they throw between their legs.
EVE works under Cedega - mostly. I would not be surprised if that stopped with the drop of the development of the DX9 client once Vista is really pushed by MS - in about a year and a half when the XP support ends. --*=*=*--

i use cedega to run Eve on SuSE 10.1 very efectivley (ive been able to eradicate all traces of MS from my machine)
the setup process was completely painless with an Nvidia card, ive not had to edit a single text file :)
however due to my limited Hardware capabilities i cant run two clients simultaniously (i could under windows - but my pc crashes every 30mins)
Anyhow, to my point.
I am unable to log into the test server at all with the kali code. i create a new copy of my eve directory, and patch it up to the current test version with the autopatcher (patching manually just sits with the progress bars on 100% and does nothing)
i then re-run Eve and get the small revelations splash screen. it sits there for slightly longer than normal, then returns to the desktop/gedega GUI this is not too much of an issue coz i can live without sisi access :(
However my concern is that i wont be able to log into TQ after kali is deployed?
just thought id bring it to the attn of those concerned, i have already mentioned it on the cedega forum too
