I have an alternative account on EVE, which has now expired.
Unfortunately, I cannot remember the names of any of the characters on that account - therefore the Forum will not allow me to login to this account - therefore I cannot resume my subscription.
Of course, if I could login I could find out the names of the characters.
I know the ID and password, but even the client does not let me login or resume the subscription. That redirects me to the Website - which requires a character name. The only remaining hope is that one of my old tablets still has Aura or Evanova on it with the correct APIs installed. Very faint chance.
I assume this means the account is lost permanently?
Oddly enough, the same method of security confirmation locked me out of Guild Wars some years ago |

It IS a catch 22, whether it's on purpose or not is up for debate. The solution is to create a support ticket via the website (you don't have to be logged in for that), preferably using the email address that's listed for that account and ask for help. If you provide enough information they will help you. |

If you still have a record of the payment details(credit/debit card/paypal account ect ect) or better yet, still have the payment method active you can contact the customer service and they can sort it out for you.
File a support ticket and provide as much detail as you can with a polite request and be patient with them for a couple of days and they should sort you out.

If you have an old Eve Mon or EFT install or back up laying around it could be very helpful in finding out those old character names. |

you ever remember posting in forums? If so maybe remember the topic a little? Along with general year or month? Google is your friend... well sort of. There is also the EVE Who site, if you can manage some vague remembrance of your character name, or corp outside of an NPC corp. |

This happened to me last week. Open a ticket. As long as you have one/some of these:
-email address tied to the account -billing address of the credit card on file -last 4 digits of the credit card on file -user name of the account
They will send you the character names. I only remembered the email address I signed that account up with and they resolved it in under a half an hour from when I filed the petition |
