I just read patch notes: "Capital shield transporters and capital remote armor repairers have changed, their durations have decreased to 5 seconds, cap need decreased to 1500 and hit point repair amount decreased to 1500. "
And the Carrier bonus: Minmatar Carrier Skill Bonuses: 50% bonus to Shield and Armor transfer range per level 5% reduction in Shield and Armor transfer duration per level 99% reduction in CPU need for Warfare Link modules Can deploy 1 additional Fighter per level 200% bonus to Fighter control range
Can someone plz explain to me why the bonus on the Niddie gets even worse now.
I could be misunderstanding here but plz enlighten me then.

A decreased duration and a decreased cap need are bonuses.
Although, I don't know what the rep amount was before the change to 1500, but if it wasn't much, then this is a good thing.

You only save around 1 second with lvl 4. That is nothing compared to a dammage bonus or tank bonus.
Its like the worst bonus in the game.
This clearely should have been a cap bonus or extra amount bonus to the mentioned modules.

Yep I might as well stop training all the capital ship Mod skills cause the minmatar carrier will be nothing more than a jump drive hauler with a drone bay..
Kali new name is Anti-Minmatar and Anti-Freighter docking at P.O.S. expansion. Once you get this Robotech thing in your blood its there to stay... |

Now give Minnie carriers 10% increased cap with these, give all carriers 5x sensor strength, and let carriers be immune to ECM/sensor damps and we might see them on the frontlines. Otherwise this is still pointless.

Learn to do math please.
Assuming Carrier V. (25% bonus)
3000 rep over 10 (300/sec) becomes 375/sec.
1500 rep over 5 (300/sec) becomes 375/sec.
Please whine about actual flaws. Or better yet, don't.

First I doubt very many people have Carrier V.
Second it doesnt matter anyway because after the second rep you will be cap dead.
Third its bonus is redution in duration which means it would be 3000 rep over 7.5 seconds. In other words you will just run out of cap faster. Thats why people want it changed to cap or rep amount. As it is now its useless.

All these cap related post and noone seems to have noticed the new gang options.. one is "Need capacitor" so i'm assuming logistics ships might be of better use after rev or maybe shortly after to make them usable as support ships.. Seems to me the whole point of all the changes was to bring variety to fleet battles.. not just warp in a blob of sniper BS and kill kill kill till someone warps the gang away.. Lets save the complaints for after the rev patch and see if it really has a negative effect.. KALI:Revelations.. Putting the Waaaa back in Piwat.. |

Yeah, but if the primary remote repping ship in Eve cant run more than 2 remotes for a short time (unless filled with cap in mid and low) then there is something wrong.
I dont say that remote repping is bad. Its just the bonus applied to it that sucks. Give it a real bonus. One that will make it show up even more than it does now.

so normal carrier boost this ship in 17+ secounds minmatar in 16+ (at4)
that means you are 6,25% faster as other carrier
this bonus SUCK!
and if you say fit sensorbooster in Mid -> you will be easy killed beouse you cap will go fast down -> one of this remot capital moduls kill the cap of a shp that can run dual capital armor repair tank forever

and i thought they would fix this by now do the devs see that the other carriers become even stronger with the hp boost while minmatar carrier becomes worse because its bonus is worthless and does nothing besides kill your cap faster.... i would even go for having 10% increased range over other carriers so at lvl4 you would have 40% more range then any other carrier to remote rep.
but no its duration
