Who we are
The ISS Navy is the 0.0 based corporate security unit of the Interstellar Starbase Syndicate alliance <ISS>. The unit conducts offensive and defensive PvP operations both reactively in support of the ISS, and proactively against our enemies. We operate a strictly NRDS engagement policy.
Our Alliance
The ISS is a Top-5 alliance of over 2000 members - both a doorway for empire corporations into 0.0, and a driving force in the colonization of deep space. The alliance has built and maintains a number of public outposts in 0.0 space, currently in the regions of Pure Blind, Catch, and Providence. ISS is a civilian alliance and aims to remain neutral in inter-alliance politics.
Our goals
The ISS Navy protects the core assets of the ISS shareholders (the outposts) and the space lanes leading to them. We actively hunt those who are hostile to our alliance. ISS member corporations are responsible for their own day-to-day security, meaning ISSN can focus on æbigger pictureÆ projects and threats.
Our recruitment
The ISSN is unique in EVE. Currently 140 strong, we have opened recruitment on a selective basis, to further strengthen our capabilities. Our minimum requirements reflect the fact we fight the best PvPers in EVE, and are exclusively 0.0 based. Our benefits are quite simply unrivalled.
Minimum requirements for entry
* Maturity and respect for your fellow pilots. * An understanding of what the ISS is trying to achieve in EVE, and the role of ISSN * Minimum of 5m skillpoints, with the majority in relevant PvP skills or focus on specialty. * Ventrilo and a working microphone * An ability to fly a well equipped fleet Battleship, Interceptor, Interdictor or Covert Ops * A basic understanding of the essentials of PvP * Teamplayer, must be working well with and for the team
We are looking for pilots who are masters of their craft. Specialization can be in anything from tackling, Covert Ops, EW, Battleships all the way to the Capital Ships. Pilots who specialize can also benefit from our wide support structure and many benefits aimed at their specialization of choice.

Edited by: Gelvitron on 25/11/2006 23:41:55 Benefits
ISSN provides many benefits to active and loyal members. Those benefits include
* All T1 and a selection of T2 modules - free * All T1 frigates and cruisers - free * Insurance re-imbursement on personal ships lost in PvP * 150 person voice server (Ventrilo) * PvP: Gang, fleet, solo, camping and escort operations * Free docking, repair, and jump clones at all ISS outposts * A long and healthy KOS (kill on sight) list * Active across all time zones * Monthly salaries for pilots in Command roles * Access to some of the best NPCing, Complexes and Mining in EVE, for when you need your ISK
ISSN is unique EVE - a PvP corp with a purpose, and comprehensive support for its members.
To apply, please travel to our outpost in QR-K85 (if you wish to impress us by arriving in one piece), or alternatively you can apply in Agil. Applications submitted in QR-K85 are looked upon more favorably by our recruiters.
Please submit an application with a brief summary of your EVE experience to date and the ships you fly. Be prepared to submit a log-in screenshot, and take part in an informal interview on Ventrilo. Please post any questions you have below, where an ISSN member will answer them for you.
We look forward to welcoming you on board.
Recruitment Contacts
Please join an ingame public channel 'issnrecruiting' and talk to one of the recruiting officers online. Please be patient if no recruiting officers are online ATM. Once contact is made, the recruiting officer will guide you through the rest of the process.
We do not rush our recruitment process, quality is more important than quantity, and like to give you the opportunity to find out more about us during the process. Its important for both of us that you make the right choice about ISSN, and if its the place for you.

This is a brand new recruitment driver. It will last as long as we feel comfortable with the numbers. As always, applying sooner rather then later is better.
Doors are still opened, so come on down.

I had a good time flying with these guys and highly recomend them. I only left because I was taking an extended break from the game, although I'm coming back soon, and may try to get back in :)

Back to the top we go!
If you're interested in something more than bland pewpew gatecamping have a chat with us, ISSN is looking for active players who are willing to contribute.
I myself have been corp hopping since I started playing EVE as I couldn't find a corp with a drive and vision. We have some really cool people who are very much willing to share and work together. ISSN gives some purpose to the game, if you too have been having problems finding a corp where things actually matter, talk to us.

This looks like a corp I would be interested in, although I still have a long ways to go before I can join (about 4,100,000 SP to go in fact) ^.^I'll keep you in mind for the future. "Faith is all I have left. Religion has left me broken and wanting."

Hey there, looking to join but can't get in game atm so thought i would ask a few questions here if that's alright?
Just wanted to know if my bounty and -1.5 sec would be a problem (bounty only 5k isk, will remove it if neccessary but i'll lose 50-60M of implants ), and that you still actually are recruiting
Hope to here from you soon, Rage

I'm quite sure that -1.5 isn't a problem, after all if you only have -1.5 you haven't been trying really hard :)
It's more a mindset thing and if you fit the bill and fit in.

I am very interested in the ISS Navy. I have been playing on and off for a while I have a decent character that has concentrated on Starship Command as well as Missiles and Beam Weapons. I have not done much PvP at all, would ISS be willing to show me the ropes if I were to join up? Also I am in the GMT -6, Central Time Zone, is anyone on during that time? Thanks.

I just wanted to say hello here as well. I've been hanging out in the recruiting and chatting with folks for a number of days. ISS Navy seems to be a really friendly operation.
I'm about 8 million skill points, and I fly a T2-fitted Raven mainly. I can also fly Caldari interceptors. I'm looking forward to learning more and getting to know ISS Navy better.
Regards!

Greetings! I've been admiring the ISS and indeed, the ISSN for quite sometime now, and I felt that perhaps I should finally give it a shot. I've nearly 10 million skillpoints, and I fly Caldari ships. I'm currently able to pilot Battleships, Intercepters, and Covert Ops frigates, and can fly an Interdictor with a few days of training. I'm not as experienced as some, but I'm certainly willing to learn. I look forward to hearing from you.

A lot of interest recently, that's good :)
Just for clarification, you should be joining issnrecruting in-game channel. That channel is monitored by all of our recruting officers and you should be able to get assistance as soon as one of us is available.
I've been having some Post-Patch(tm) trouble with my game client but after last nights patch things look much better so I should be online very soon and ready to help out everyone who's interested (with higher priority to some people Hurtt ).
issnrecruting is where you want to be and we'll be there as soon as time permits.
PS. This is not a bump, this is just a reply to make sure people get the reply they deserve. Bump is just a plesent side effect :)
