I won't include the real cheap beer, the type we all drank in high school for no other reason then to get drunk so..
Corona - bhelgh.
MGD - For a beer thats served everywhere, it really should be better.
Great Western - I think you can only get it on the Canadien praries, with any sort of regularity. They have about 8 differant beers, some are great, others are horrible, there is no middle ground. Thier Pilsener is great, thier honeybrown is one of the worst beers ever.

Edited by: Caol on 27/11/2006 15:09:59 Im thinking .... but seriously I can't think of any beer I dislike and im none to fussy on the temperature - big big fan of ales but not the toilet camping the day after (Adnams ring anyone??)
Harp, perhaps, but as long as it hasn't been open in the warm for a week I think I would drink it. Only Kilkenny and the huge plastic bottled cider such as "Ninja Blade" from a St.Particks day experiment and my youth rustle up memories of pain ...

They get it from those Clydesdales, you know.
And Bud Light is the 9mm of beers...
Come to think of it, most US beer is undrinkable (most of the large name brands).
My favorite beer is Korenwolf, but I haven't seen it here in the US.

You are so wrong. Totally, amazingly wrong.
Seriously, people whine on the forums that CCP don't know what they are doing, and I never believed it until you said that.

Schlitz Olde English
and the worst I've had, by FAR: Olde English ICE
I'm known by all my friends for having an iron stomach, but 2 drinks of OE Ice and I dumped the rest out.
As far as fav beers, way too many to list, and I go through phases. Lately I've been drinking the hell out of Schwarzbier, and Sam Adam's Black Lager.

Brooklyn Lager gets my vote as the worst around. Stella and Fosters follow close behind. Windhoek Lager also ranks up there amongst the worst of them.

This is a special beer close to my heart: Rogue Old Crustacean
because it can be the most rancid thing on earth or the best thing on earth, depending on the mood I am in. It's one of the best barleywines out there, but god**** if I am not in the mood (sometimes I think I am in the mood and am really not) and I ***** one open it sucks cause I gotta toss it.
Basically anything American or Canadian (and some english) by a macro brewer sucks monkey chocolate balls.
Then again, some of the best craft breweries are American.
Conclusion: Marketting sucks.
Also as a sidenote, one particular batch of homebrew in college was horrid, VERY horrid. Remind me never to experiment with drugs and alcohol together again.

Good lagers, like Budwar and Warsteiner are at the top of my list. Dark stouts are good, too. Guiness is classic.
Stella Artois is a very decent light lager...in certain places. I've had it both in the US and Iceland, and I have no idea what the Americans put in it, but it sort of tastes watered down there. I can very well understand people not liking it if that's the only version they've tried. ------------------------------------------- "Sarcasm and irony are not to be used by the uninitiated."

Edited by: Alowishus on 29/11/2006 13:00:24 I'm a PBR man myself. Here's the thing, I *can* be the biggest beer snob on the planet. But when I want to get DRUNK I'm going to do it as cheaply as possible. In most cases that means PBR (at least in Denver). It's usually between $1.25 and $2 a can. Since I work in a bar I get it discounted there: $1.20 a can.
I think Bud/Light and Miller Genuine Draft are the worst beers you can drink. Sometimes I'll drink a Bud Select or Miller Highlife (cheaper than PBR, you can get a pint of MH for the price of a PBR can in most cases).
Cheap beer makes the world go round and being versed in cheap beer really is as much an art as expensive beer. Anyone can tell the difference between two excellent beers but if you can tell the difference between Coors Light and Miller Light then you're a better man.

Miller/Budwiser/coors.
As far as carona is concerned, I wouldn't call it horrible just very over rated. All of my friends say its the best beer out there but IMO its just a single step above watered down urine like most domestic beers here in the states. _______________________________ Idea stolen from DS:
