Humans have competed with one another since God first placed them on Athra. Some even believe that human nature demands this conflict. Early tribes engaged in violent skirmishes over resources, but one hesitates to call these battles GÇÿwar.GÇÖ
Rather, war came to birth with the invention of the state. As human society, technology, and economics has developed, so has war. When we think of modern warfare, weGÇÖre apt to imagine massive battleships spewing missiles or power armor encased infantry sweeping through city blocks.
Warfare, however, is more than military action. There is also economic and psychological warfare.
Propaganda is a common tool in psychological warfare, but itGÇÖs also seen in politics and commercial enterprises. Unless you are cut off from technology, you are likely immersed in propaganda from birth. Though we all like to believe we have free will and make our own decisions, the uncomfortable truth is that much of what we think and believe is based on a large body of propaganda weGÇÖve absorbed.
As a member of the State militia, I am duty-bound to make war on its enemies, specifically those capsuleer pilots who fly for the Gallente Federation. If you are such a pilot, I urge you to go through this thread and absorb the demoralizing messages I present.
Alternatively, if you are a member of the Caldari State, please let this thread fill you with patriotism and a desire to fight and destroy the enemies of the State.
For the State!

The Caldari State is mighty. Though small in size, its economy and military efficiency makes it equal to empires double or triple its size.
Caldari Prime is a cold, harsh world, and its people are born from adversity. Since the beginning, they have been forced to make the most of what they have, to cooperate in order to survive, and to ruthlessly seize what advantages they might.
They are a terrible foe to go against for their strength and tenacity is second to none.
The Gallente Federation is weak. Like a fat, lazy walrus, it rolls over those smaller than it and believes that to be strength.
Luminaire is a lush, fertile world, and its people are born from luxury. Since the beginning, they have not had to struggle to survive, and so quickly gave into pleasure and idleness.
A capricious and arrogant people, they seek to take what belongs to the Caldari, for their greed knows no bounds.
Thank you for your time. I hope you have enjoyed this propaganda. Please join me again later.
For the State!
Render unto Khanid the things which are Khanid's; and unto God the things that are God's.

The Caldari State is mighty. Its enemies will fall before it, weeping for their folly. It will defend what rightfully belongs to it from all thieves, pirates, and bandits, no matter their colors or flag.
Those who wish to oppose it will only rouse a great and terrible dragon.
Why do you rouse the dragon? Do you not know of its strength? Do you believe yourself able to escape its wrath?
These great spires you raise will be ash under its fiery breath. These beautiful streets will crack and shatter under its feet. These sweet words you sing will become a mourning ballad.
Seek not your own end.
Thank you for your time. I hope you have enjoyed this propaganda. Please join me again later.

Nothing like a healthy serving of propaganda for breakfast, complete with a side of public commentary.
The word "propaganda" is a combination of "propagate" and "agenda." It literally means to spread an agenda from one person to another.
So, to compose good propaganda, you need the following framework for a foundation:
1. ) An agenda - something you intend to accomplish or an idea you wish to plant into the hearts and minds of your audience 2. ) A method of propagation - a choice of medium you will use to facilitate the spreading of your agenda, the more the better 3. ) A target audience - propaganda is most effective when exercised in a manner and setting in which the target audience receives it and the counter-audience has no opportunity to refute or subvert it 4. ) Time - propaganda requires both time and repetition to become effective
With all of that said, some advice I would have for you:
Your composition could use some refinement. Your current presentation reads like an archaic religious text or prophecy; your target audience isn't known for its adherence to metaphor or its preference for apocalyptic style. I would suggest striving for a more practical, competitive style with less imagery and more emphasis on the spirit of the Caldari people, the strength of the State economy, the importance of tradition, the favor of the ancestors or, if you seek to implore the spiritual side of the Caldari, the power and wisdom of the Winds. Your first and second articles employed this emphasis, continue along those lines.
Keep the message consistent.
You're off to a good start, all you really need is practice.
I do prefer my morning propaganda with a bit of seasoning.
"Though the people may hate me, that does not relieve me of my charge."

It must be, Mister Anslo. Everyone knows it is the Potato Federation that uses propaganda to further their political agenda of spreading war to all corners of New Eden!
Why would the Caldari need propaganda? They are super well motivated as it is! |

Thinking that is a misconception for most capsuleers. It is unwise to think that one is untouchable because they can reclone. Accidents happen, errors occur. With enough investigation you will find yes... Capsuleers do indeed die.

Indeed they are, clones are a means to an end and nothing more. My true rebirth will come if a cloning fails or when I choose. It will be my second rebirth and I have no doubt I will still require the modern ways. I hope one day to become Idama, but until that day I will use all means available to prolong my service to those who require it.
You may consider me frivolous, hedonistic beyond redemption but these are the means by which I retain my humanity. I practice the traditional ways to counter the megalomania and sociopathy I see grip so many who join the capsuleer ranks.

Keep the message consistent. I must thank you for being the only one to give me advice on the matter.
Yes, my own cultural background is coming through, I fear. I should probably spend some time studying the propaganda of the State and Federation in order to create a more moving message for the milita pilots from those backgrounds.

They do get knocked down a lot. That's what happens when you're operating in a warzone full of hostile neutrals and enemy combatants.
If you're a pilot who has never experienced failure, you probably don't need motivational images.
