Ok, final, final post in this thread just in case Thor is really a real live individual person.
The plot holes here are sufficient for a 4 year to drive a truck through sideways:
- OP wanted money with the 'promise' of giving it back later in order to expand his trading business.
- No collateral could be provided such that it could instead /also/ all be used to expand said trading business.
- Shiny new collateral for 3.1B magically turns up and is handed over in exchange for 3B
OP, instead of using the Bond sale to expand his trading business is now officially instead using it to validate his lack of business understanding:
So...
- OP now owes 90M to Thor in a month (or was it 5% ?)
- OP has now tied up 100M in capital that instead could have been liquidated to achieve his initial stated goal
And, after all of this - Not one bit of the little charade will help reel in any additional investors:
- Unknown 3rd Party, Thor, who isn't a 3rd Party due to having actually exchanged 3B for the Collateral and thus in the imminent default has exactly 0 reason to liquidate the collateral and pass the proceeds through to the other investors.
- Unknown 3rd Party, Thor, whom I have implied is a sock puppet near a half dozen times now - has not objected one single time
Thor, in the tiny, tiny chance you are actually "investing" here, and everything is *exactly* as it has been made out to be - Sell the collateral now, and then pocket the income every month and let the "bond" run forever per the OPs stated request |

Ok... ok I get it, no I am not a sock puppet.
To keep it brief.
I am not a 3rd party, never held out to be one. Might look into it in the future though I am looking after my own investment.
The term of the bond could be indefinite so there is that. I will not sell the collateral unless a default occurs.
For the benefit of the OP:
We have discussed open-ended bonds and the unattractive nature of them. We have discussed limited bonds rather then unlimited We have discussed collateralised vs uncollateralised
As this is the OP's first post in MD I am inclined to forgive the errors. One can't be expected to master the posting of bonds, loans and other investments straight away can they?
Anyway in the end, no I am not a sock puppet. |

If only there was a forum section where a person could ask experienced players about how to launch an effective bond. |

Well this should end amusingly :)
If both parties are genuine then business is being done, I hope you both profit as you should. Win for being genuine.
If either or both parties are less than genuine then this has just been a waste of time, as I don't see this thread generating significant provenance for either party to use as future capital sorry.
Either way it's actually self regulating. |

Hi all,
A little late posting this, however I just thought I would let everyone know that the collateral was returned and the loan amount plus interest was paid in full
