It is extremely annoying that one can't distinguish between looted and not looted wrecks. This is a MAJOR (!) issue because it makes mission running pointless.
Please change that ASAP.

I had the same issue with test patch on sisi... I was not using the correct splash.bmp and once i put the correct one back the test patch installed fine...or just download full install..
edited for one handed typing...
You really shouldn't modify the client. Even if it just the splash screen it can mess with patching and is a violation of the EULA.
I had the same error with the install; missing splash.bmp. I've never modified the client and only updated through patches the client downloads. Looks like you guys goofed. Other people have reported this problem as well.

Overall I am pleased and the lag has improved quite a bit for me. So far my biggest gripes are:
1. Wrecks are a nightmare. Warping into a belt to rat and finding 30 previous wrecks to sort through when you have killed off the rats.
2. I see the potential with Contracts or Escrow but some tweaking is needed. Mostly having to search by region install of "Show All" and the search function is crap.
3. White flash when jumping.
4. Camera reset to zoom after jump.
5. How about a guide to all the new changes instead of just a "Patch Notes"

The contracts are a pain in the ass. As you can't search for certain descriptions and/or items it's kinda useless.
Suggestion: - add description search to contracts.

Same here, I'm stuck in a vicious loop. I get a little white flash (lets me know that my client is about to die) then I come out of warp at my previous crash point (right next to the gate) and then proceede to crash. I don't even have enough time to file a petetion in game before the client crashes.
This is frustrating to no end....

Here are my thoughts on Revelations. Wrecks Well it has been said quite a few times in this thread and others but I will say it again. The wreck concept was a great idea very poorly executed. The devs seem to have not even vaguely considered the mission runners when developing this. Escrow The escrow market is gone and replaced by something even less developed than the wreck concept. Did no one think of something as simple as being able to order contracts by name, price etc. Whats with the massive font allowing a reltively few contracts per page. Not being able to bid or buy out of region is a pain. Space view The new star field in the distance has given space a cheap cheesy feel. Drones Drones seem stupider than ever. In a few hours today I saw them: refusing to board my ship changing from the target I ordered to random targets not attacking at all
The stuff Ilike Warp to 0. Good stuff. makes travelling around less time consuming. Leaves more time for playing. The new ships all look great. The designers were on the ball. The patch process itself was simple and trouble free.
All in all the some of the concepts rolled out in the patch are underdone and could have done with a lot more thought and contemplation.

Got one bug that has been reported but showed up in a differnet form.
It¦s the white flash screen. Was looking at a wreck while flying to another to salvage and when I reset the camera, it zoomed out quite far, went all white and flashy and then zoomed in on my ship and went all ok.

Crash To Desktop Issue:
Two separate PC's (two separate accounts). Both running ATI Radeon 9600's, 1 Gig Ram. One is a Barton 2500, running WinXP Home, one is an Athlon 64 3500 running WinXP Pro. DX up to date, vid drivers up to date.
Happens when I approach/jump through gates, on autopilot, or on warp-to-zero. Has not occurred at stations, or asteroid belts. Tried several variations of warp to; happens on approach, on autopilot, on warp-to-zero (but on the other side of the gate) and once mid-warp.
Prior to patch roll-out: Never a problem crashing, not even on the test server.
BM's have ALL been deleted.
This is a complete client crash, not a disconnect (no relog window pops up after crash).
DXDIAG shows no problems with either machine.

I've not seen, in either the patchnotes or the known issues, that the clones pricing has been changed. Nice change BTW.
Having a default warp to 0 will make you instadock just selecting dock. This is curious, but ok with me.
Sending a bugreport about ativating an offline module (visualization only, it doesn't really activate).
For everything else congratulations for your great job and sorry if this has already been told, gotta go to work and that's not enough time to read these 8 pages :)

Our corp logo has changed in color. We have a cirkel and a cross overlaying. Both were yellow (same color), but now one is a different shade of yellow than the other. Trying to change it has no effect.

I am getting a graphics problem when jumping systems. When it loads up the new system, I am getting a white flash like a photo flash. I have a geforce 6800 Ultra. Any ideas what this prob is caused by?

Hi, Here is my first thoughts.
1. Looting without salvaging skill is extremely annoying since you dont know which wrecks have been looted and which havent. I guess this forces mission runners and such to take salvaging. 2. New splash screen is cool. 3. I found the new scanning system confusing.

- i want "safe password" back, why do you remove it from the game, but you leave the option still at the website ?
- contacts, need sorting for the list, at moment they are sorted like they got added. The entrys are too big
- remove weapom Damage add Rig's or add Damage add rigs for Drones too. Same for modules.

Camera movements are more along the lines of the Jovian design, no more instantaneous moving to observe ships, I like that.

seeing as tho this is a current issue is there any location we can find this splash.bmp in its original form so we can just whack it into our eve folder updating to the dragon patch then simply install the new version as is some of us are on slow ocnnections or cough even dialup a 555mb download is going to kill some ppl - any offical CCP word on this goof up

Booted up today and started patch download from client. Installed until missing splash.bmp corrupted my install. Downloaded full client and re-install. Now I have to patch again?!
Just like to say - worst patch I've experienced. And I haven't even gotten in game to see what the dev's broke yet.

Cant buy datacores from my R&D agent. When I click the option nothing happens at all. Only reason I can think of if this isn't a bug is that the limit is universal and not personal like I thought it was.

21 wrecks and no one component of it's on the Story Line mission lvl 4 with EoM... such a bull**** guy's... On the Test sucessfull was much better than here... And color empty-full wrecks as well CCP, pilots are MAD about that, specially who cann't use Salvager I yet...

A minor bug with descriptiion of "Gas Cloud Harvesting" skill:
"Skill at mining ice. 5% reduction per skill level to the cycle time of ice harvesters."
Also not have seen any reactions (or will it be normal bpos) for booster production

Something of perhaps minor note to some but of major importance to me was the ability to sell a number of items on the regular market was removed. I don't know the full extent of these changes, but in my case I have noticed that most COSMOS loot items can no longer be sold in this fashion. I had been making a fair living selling surplus loot items like the pirate spurs that drop frequently in all of the COSMOS complexes. After a few days of running some of these complexes I'd have several hundred of them amassed, none of which I have any use for. So I would throw the whole lot up on the market and anyone running a COSMOS mission that required a bulk sum of them could buy up however many they needed. Now the option to put them up on the market no longer exists, and I have to resort to using the new Contracts system to attempt to sell them, which is an inconvenience for both me as the seller and to the potential buyer. I now have to break them down into a bunch of smaller orders to accommodate the number of spurs needed per the different COSMOS missions, and I will have to do this on a weekly basis instead of a tri-monthly basis. This also inconveniences the buyer as they are now required to buy them in a package of a set number of spurs. They may have some already and just want to buy up the remainder to ensure they make the mission bonus, and instead of just buying the number they needed off the market they now have to resort to buying a set package off the Contracts system, leaving them with more spurs than they needed or wanted. Sure, this isn't anything of critical importance and probably not something most people even noticed, but it has certainly affected how I play. Why remove the ability to sell these items? Is there a reason this change was even made?

seems some are able to play some are getting this monmentus stuff goof up. No offical dev response on a fix despite other threads on eve o general forums being locked saying a fix has been sorted ( still trying to find that dev post seems it doesnt exist) something fishy is going on here basically once i get this sorted out im making 3 copies of my TQ folder before patching will keep a clean one - one will be the attempt till i figure it out the other a backup. If it goofs up simply delete 3 and reinstall 1 with 2 as backup - this has been a massive stuffup in an apparently otherwise smooth transition what are 80% of the other players that are able to get in doing right that the rest arent ?

by all accoutns not much was broken just the installation procedure - heck not even a link to this splash.bmp file so those of us being f**ked around by this can fix it easily - oh CCP this is even occouring on a clean install u have download a massive file - 556MB that brings us to 121 then download the new patch ..... then only to find splash.bmp is still missing and still no offical dev word

Another bug that I haven¦t encountered before.
Bought 2 skills through market and jumped to station using assets. Got there and started training one skill and put the other one in cargo hold.
Now assets suddenly show me having 2 sets of both skills at station and 2 ships at station, even after refresh.
