The time has come to move on, so to that purpose...
I'm looking for a forward thinking and planning PvP/PvE/INDY Corp with strong, capable leadership that plays in in low/null. I'm looking for a mid to large size corp as I have found that smaller corps tend to get quiet. Main focus should be PVP, that includes small to large gang, large fleet, and even sov warfare. USTZ preferred as I live in Western Canada.
The main thing that I am looking for is a relaxed group, people who GÇ£get itGÇ¥, people that know itGÇÖs a game, but do want to succeed with itGǪ no point playing if youGÇÖre not going to try and win. Calm, relaxed and a good time. IGÇÖm 48, have a family, Job, Mortgage, kid in uniGǪ this is down time for me. What I donGÇÖt want is some 20 something FC freaking out over comms, If I wanted that BS I would have stayed in the forces, plus I'll most likely laugh my ass off. I do understand the need for pilots to show up for fleet engagements to protect what you have or to take from someone else, itGÇÖs EVE. And hey, sometime you need to drag the barge out and help mine so we can get the corp build completed. I get it and have no problem with it.
What do you get out of it, well a mature player that enjoys teabaging teenagers in Halo just to listen to their threats afterwardsGǪ pure entertainment! Team player, the ability to see the big picture and work toward long range goals. I have TS and a working mike. API check? No problem. Need me to train on a certain skill because you want me flying this kind of ship? Sure, itGÇÖs not an issue. I've flown in sov fleets before, know how to cap chain... PVP? Well judging by my KB (which looks like a blood bath), I don't think I'll be the next Abbadon21 or Mr Duffo. Solo pvp for me just ends up as a sacrifice to the blood god, with me as the sacrifice... can't say I didn't have fun though.
As for my Toon, 112M SP. http://eveboard.com/pilot/Saskia_Laru (PW1234). This character is NOT my original. I picked her up at around 75M SP after I had an EVE mid-life crisis due to boredom and being in dying corps. Can fly most ships, with the exception of a few. Chances are I can fly most fleet doctrines well. Can fly amarr dread & carrier (skill wise), but never have in game... never had a reason too. Indy skill are few, and I have not worked on them, concentrating on pvp skills, but the ones I have can be useful... boring, but useful.
What about the guy on the other side of the mike? Well I'm Canadian, living in Western Canada. I'm usually on between 00:00 - 04:00 UTC in the fall/winter months (depending on internet access) due to hotel living, and anytime during the spring & summer as I enjoy time off. As mentioned IGÇÖm an older gamer, I play Halo, CoD, WH40K, and old fashion pen and paper RPGs. Spent 7 years in the military, served with the UN, and in my current job spent 6 months in 09 on the Somali border eating sand. Basically not too much surprises me anymore. Trash talkGǪ I can give as well as I can get, so no worries there. I donGÇÖt care what you look like or who you sleep with. Not to interested in drama, but I will admit to getting a chuckle out of it from time to time. Tears? Tears are tasty, and I will drink from that cup if given freely, but won't go out of my way to collect them.
I still want to see a Titan die with my own eyes, maybe even get in on the KM. Diplomacy? Intrigue? Count me in! Small roams are cool, as are the larger hunts. SOV warfare is a necessary evil, but I'm hoping the new sov mechanics make things interesting. IGÇÖm ISK independent from my alt's trading days, and the wholesale clearing off of my other toons. Plan to only play Sask, due to RL time constraints, plus I'm sick of the whole indy thing. I can also afford to buy PLEX at need, but I would rather reap it from the game. I don't pirate, but I am not opposed to it. I have suicide ganked with an old alt, but never really got into it, so gave it up, but I'm also not opposed to others doing it. People should protect their stuff instead of crying, whining, or otherwise bitching about it. WoW in space is not what I want EVE to become. Screw that.
Yeah... that's about it. Thanks for taking the time to read. Drop me a line if you are interested.

Hey, I run a small corp that does small gang PvP in FW space, mostly in T1 frigs/dessies for now as they are simple and cheap, but as our member base grows we will start messing around with AF's, T3Ds and T1 cruisers.
We are a tightly knit group that focus on having fun. If you join ISCX, you will not be treated as just another line member, but given support when you need it and content when you want it.
Overall we are chilled, fun and looking for new members to join us.

We are not the most elite group to ever form, but we have great fun and always look for good fights. Our KB's have been inactive for a bit as we move into our new staging area in npc null sec, our long term goals match up nicely with what you have mentioned on your post.

Hey Saskia. I represent the Flying Dangerous alliance. We've recently settled into our new home (old home for long time veterans) in Syndicate. As a PVP minded alliance, we love the new high target environment we now find ourselves in. We're about to launch some campaigns raising general hell and making the immediate surroundings more our own.
We're newbro friendly, and we regularly fly cheap/fast/fun comps to that end, but aren't afraid to pull out the big shiny stuff either. We're here to have fun, and are populated majoritavely by middle aged working class good natured folks who play in their downtime.
I think you'd find a fun home with us. Contact me or Zip Slings by mail or in game if you want to know more.

Thanks to those that have responded and sent emails. I will endeavor to contact you all and have a chat. It will take some time to make a decision. I don't want to rush it, because I hate moving corps. |

Answered some emails and have add a few good conversations! Do to RL obligations, I'll be holding off on making a decision for a week or so, but still interested in seeing what's going on out there.
I can definitely rule out any FW corp (sorry guys, been there and done that) I also don't think I'm interested in any Hi-sec corp, mercenary or not. And I'm definitely not interested in any corps with few that 30 people... I'm sure there are lots of good ones, but when I log on, I don't want to be the only one online. That just sucks. |

Eclipse Navy is a laid back but dedicated PvP corp that lives with PIZZA. We expect members to provide for themselves but there is alliance space for nullbearing and NPC Pirate missions here in Delve. We are a bit younger but are also very laidback.

Hey mate,
If you still haven't solidified a corp yet, which it looks like your still looking, then give us a check out.
The corporation focuses on smaller gang warfare and trying not to blob, that is unless we get blobbed every time.. The alliance focuses on covert warfare and hotdrop style gangs.
We are mainly a US timezone alliance but the corporation itself is all around in timezones mainly focused on the EU/UK timezones but still have some US bros.

I want to thank all of those corps that offered me a place to berth. I have decided, after looking over the changes to return to my former corp.
In the end it was an easy choice, the corporation I was part of has changed directions, and I was asked to return, and second.... I like flying with people I already know. I know I would of made new friends where ever I ended up, but loyalty does count for something, to me anyway, and a second try seemed the thing to do.
Wish you all the best. Good hunting, and keep you gun sights clean!
