I've read that evading CONCORD will get you banned, and I was wondering if this meant using a hack or third party program to do so, or just avoiding in general.
For instance, if I gank a miner in 1.0 space, then warp to a deadspace area I have bookmarked, could I be banned for evading CONCORD? (Could they even warp to my bookmarked location?)
Thanks

Google helps a lot about this. Like, it will tell you that you can't warp off with GCC, unless you cheat and time it properly. Which is illegal and should get you banned, btw. You can't evade CONCORD.
It's nice you ask questions, but why don't you do even a minimum research of your own?

I have been able to warp off during a gank.
Once.
It was basically one of those one-in-a-million moments that happened just as I shot an innocent pilot who I thought had aggressed me (yeah I was Suspect at the time).
I had clicked on the warp button seconds before I went Criminal.
I thought for a second I had gotten away with it when CONCORD scrammed me (which knocked me out of warp halfway to where I was going) and then they landed on grid and blew me up.
The bastards.
Sigh.
Everything in EVE is a trap.
And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

Same here. I was shooting pods, then spamming warp to get my pod out. I was quite surprised to see my thrasher warping away after the gank, but I felt bad, so I warped back to the gate so Concord could get me
Only ever happened once though. |

This is actually easily repeatable, but apparently CCP doesn't do anything against it until too many do it. And it's being done. There's not much to gain though, except not having CONCORD on target-grid and having the turrets of your tornado reset for another volley after you warped 50km.

would it be possible to attack another player, go global, eject and have an alt collect the ship that was used in the attack without it being blown up by concord?
i understand that by ganking and taking part in hyperdunking you are not so much as evading concord but you are perverting the course of justice which is a crime in the real world and this should be transposed into the game and made an exploit imo |

There's only one remaining way that I know of to evade Concord, and no I'm not telling what it is.
Regardless, doing so will get you banned, because we can't have emergent gameplay being allowed to beat out the Magic Space Police.
Now, hyperdunking? Perfectly legal. Look into that.

You go GCC, your ship gets blown up. Using a Ship Maintenance Bay to hop into another one in space is not bending the rules or exploiting anything.
The only way I've heard of people recently (and accidently) evading concord is with grid wall mishaps.

A mere 200 million? A pittance. He should take you up on this to get rid of some of that stress.

There are a couple ways of avoiding concord retribution, all of them known to CCP and easily catchable and easily bannable. AFAIK if somehow you avoid CONCORD by warping off, as long as you don't shoot anyone again after landing, and let yourself die, you should be 100% ok. |

If you have a security status of -4.9 or of higher numerical value, you're officially evading concord.

-4.9 or a higher numerical value means you're still a care bear. Crime isn't for everyone I guess.

CONCORD is way too weak in its current state - they are too reactive and not proactive. We need to buff CONCORD by making it into a pre-emptive force that destroys criminals *before* they commit the crime. I'm thinking of a PreCrime unit like in Minority Report, starring Tom Cruise Control.
So imagine I undock from station with the intent to gank a miner. CONCORD shows up and blaps me, even though I don't have a criminal flag yet. The good folks at PreCrime got the red ball. Bam... peace in our time! |
