I am currently in need of capital to fund a new project. I am comfortable risking my entire net worth on this opportunity, however I am short on liquid ISK. So I am seeking a collateralized loan. As much as I can get, for as low an interest rate as I can get, based on collateral consisting of the following researched BPOs:
Charon Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE10 Moros Blueprint (BPO) ME9/TE10 Archon Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE10 Thanatos Blueprint (BPO) ME6/TE10 Rorqual Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE10 Orca Blueprint (BPO) ME5/TE10 Capital Armor Plates Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Capacitor Battery Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Cargo Bay Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Clone Vat Bay Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Computer System Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Construction Parts Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Corporate Hangar Bay Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Drone Bay Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE14 Capital Jump Drive Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Power Generator Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Propulsion Engine Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Sensor Cluster Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Shield Emitter Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Ship Maintenance Bay Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Siege Array Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Turret Hardpoint Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE0 Capital Antimatter Reactor Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME9/TE16 Capital Crystalline Carbonide Armor Plate Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE18 Capital Deflection Shield Emitter Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Electrolytic Capacitor Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital EM Pulse Generator Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE20 Capital Fernite Carbide Composite Armor Plate Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Fusion Reactor Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE18 Capital Fusion Thruster Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE20 Capital Gravimetric Sensor Cluster Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE18 Capital Graviton Pulse Generator Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE18 Capital Graviton Reactor Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE18 Capital Ion Thruster Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE18 Capital Ladar Sensor Cluster Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Laser Focusing Crystals Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE20 Capital Linear Shield Emitter Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE20 Capital Magnetometric Sensor Cluster Blueprint (BPO) M7E/TE20 Capital Magpulse Thruster Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE20 Capital Nanoelectrical Microprocessor Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE20 Capital Nanomechanical Microprocessor Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Nuclear Pulse Generator Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE20 Capital Nuclear Reactor Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Oscillator Capacitor Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE20 Capital Particle Accelerator Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE20 Capital Photon Microprocessor Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE20 Capital Plasma Pulse Generator Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE20 Capital Plasma Thruster Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE20 Capital Pulse Shield Emitter Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE20 Capital Quantum Microprocessor Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE16 Capital Radar Sensor Cluster Blueprint (BPO) ME9/TE16 Capital Scalar Capacitor Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME9/TE14 Capital Superconductor Rails Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE14 Capital Sustained Shield Emitter Blueprint (BPO) ME9/TE14 Capital Tesseract Capacitor Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME9/TE16 Capital Thermonuclear Trigger Unit Blueprint (BPO) ME9/TE16 Capital Titanium Diborite Armor Plate Blueprint (BPO) ME9/TE14 Capital Tungsten Carbide Armor Plate Blueprint (BPO) ME10/TE16 Capital Armor Repairer I Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE10 Capital Remote Armor Repairer I Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE10 Capital Remote Capacitor Transmitter I Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE10 Capital Remote Hull Repairer I Blueprint (BPO) ME7/TE10 Capital Remote Shield Booster I Blueprint (BPO) ME6/TE10 Capital Capacitor Control Circuit I Blueprint (BPO) ME8/TE10 Triage Module I Blueprint (BPO) ME6/TE10
I would appreciate the opinion of the MD community on the following questions:
(1) What is a reasonable estimate of value of the above BPOs?
(2) What discount (haircut) to current value is appropriate for loan collateral?
(3) How much should I expect to pay a trusted third party to hold the collateral?
(4) What monthly interest rate is appropriate for a collateralized six month loan?
And finally, if anyone is interested in offering me such a loan, what are your terms?
Thank you in advance for your interest. |

Betty Bravo wrote:(2) What discount (haircut) to current value is appropriate for loan collateral? You'll need to provide collateral equal to 110% of the loan value.
Betty Bravo wrote:(4) What monthly interest rate is appropriate for a collateralized six month loan? 2%

For the other questions, you should speak to your third party. I recommend Chribba.

as above
you could get a decent loan for a low interest on the bpo but they would need to be held by a 3rd party who independently evaluates and holds them prior to anyone biting. |

If you're looking for a third party I would be happy to do that.
I would also be interested in filling the loan, or a good chunk of it at least, on behalf of a client. As Bobby says, interest would be 2% per month and the prints would be valued at 90% of their NPC price (i.e. at fire-sale value). Can you give me a rough calculation of the value of the prints using that as a basis?

Based on 90% of NPC/unresearched price, I have a lot less collateral than I thought I did, which is disappointing. But I did come here with little knowledge, asked questions, and got answers. I now think a loan may not be the best way for me to pursue my new project, so I am exploring a couple of other options.
