If we are going to continue to see wormhole statics, lifetimes and spawn rates messed with I thought, why can't we make a new type of wormhole.
C14 Sleeper sites of C3 wormholes
Nullsec style relic and data
Two statics, available in three flavours: K346/O477 - 60% U210/V301 - 20% D845/I182 - 20%
I know I'd be DTF this

Erm, sorry for off-topic. I'm not even sure what those are too. |

They're the "drifter holes" that have weird little names and are reachable by jove observatorys' silly little drifter WH's in losec.
Here's a snippet about them, from Crossing Zebras:
Barbican (J110145 Cataclysmic Variable). Entry: B735 Unidentified Wormhole Beacon. Known systems: Nasreri Conflux (J200727 Pulsar). Entry: C414 Unidentified Wormhole Beacon. Known systems: Otelen, Pashanai Redoubt (J175618 Wolf Rayet). Entry: R259 Unidentified Wormhole Beacon. Known systems: Murzi Sentinel (J055520 Red Giant). Entry: S877 Unidentified Wormhole Beacon. Known systems: Ami Vidette (J164710 Magnetar). Entry: V928 Unidentified Wormhole Beacon. Known systems: Kurniainen

So far people have been able to crack them, but we don't yet know what they pieces in them are used for. Some say it may be player gates.
Speaking to the original subject: TF, would you give those systems any crazy C13-style effects, or just have them be varied like the rest of Anoikis? As far as the specific combos of statics, I think it sounds fun. Why not just add those to the existing C3's though?
Yeah, well, it's just like my-áopinion, man.

In CCPs infinite wisdom, they'd surely turn those systems into c6-RG frigholes, so any mod you overheat is guaranteed to burn to a crisp in one cycle. Or they'd make it a c6 frighole pulsar, so that you can choose whether to fly a confessor in an old c13 or an onyx in the new one (or just go home).
Those holes (like pretty much all of w-space) would be much more diverse without any wormhole effects.

Nope. We need more 1200 DPS Hecates as much as we all need galloping ball cancer. It's more about throwing new static combos on the discussion midden. I'm on record as saying C13's should have various other effects besides W-R. Magnetars for uber Worms, etc etc. Or whatever, whatever.

I'm all for new static combo's. Dual statics for every class would be interesting as well.
I don't need twitter.

How about wormholes with random effects? Something which forces you to adapt on a regular basis? Too much of a grind? |

People would just log off for the black Hole cyle and go PVE'ing in Pulsar or W-R or Magnetar cycle. You'd be worried about being sieged during Cat Var week. That's about all that would happen.

Eh the BH weather isn't as bad as it used to be. Still not terrific for anyone thing but that's ok.
Different C19-style (just going to adopt the naming) wouldn't be bad. And I think random wh effects would be novel. However, in order for that to happen and not be 'noped' away from the fitting window might need to have some updates, or probe scanning would display some system information that would give some hint as to what the weather is like.
This would, imo, encourage a whole new level of nomadic travel preparation as people would need to try and be versatile enough to either survive and thrive or retreat/disengage. Those prepared would do quite well. Suitcase orca's with cloaks would be more of a thing too so finding and killing them would be another possible hunting target.
I'm right behind you
