Ive never noticed a drop in the amount of loot (save boosters), however the value of mods dropped A LOT after the MTU was brought in and then salvage lost value after the exploration changes.
And now everytime a module type gets rebalance and condensed in 'meta-cide', there is a lot of saturation as 5 mods become 3 on the market.
Its random, so you do get bad days, but some missions are always poor pickings. Its easier to think if the missions I do accept than remember the ones I dont.

Why is it that level 4 missions are always considered ISK faucets, but other forms of PvE activities that pay significantly more are not? Sleeper caches in WH, anomalies in low and nul sec etc must be ISK faucets as well but no one ever calls them that.
I think people are confused as to what an isk faucet is.
Neither mission loot nor sleeper caches are isk faucets. Increasing the drop rate in missions does not make missions a bigger isk faucet.
And everyone calls anoms in null sec an isk faucet...they are the largest faucet in the game.

Daichi dear, I am out of highsec. If you look at my losses from this year you'll see even pirate ships and tech2 cruisers which I could not afford to loose with level 4 missions.
I wasn't really complaining about the bounties, just module drops. And recent pricetags on ships and gear would explain why newbies constantly complain that they can't do stuff, they cannot afford it.
Im aware. But anyone who doesnt like the payout of missions doesnt have to run them. The fact is however, that a lot of people run them because they pay so well for so little effort and risk. They REALLY dont need a buff.
I appreciate its harder for new players to afford ships these days, but increasing loot doesnt really help them get into ships faster. It just screws over miners. Im also not concerned that mission runners cannot afford to throw away pirate and T2 ships. They have a meaningful choice; fly cheaper T1 ships or accept some risk and do PvE in more dangerous space.
New players can join forces and run harder missions in smaller ships now that low skill logi is a thing.
