As you can see here, the Ammatar now have a corporation directly representing their interests.
I'm curious to know if there are there any events planned - too many a time you get "What's an Ammatar? Don't you mean Amarr? You're M******r silly!"

I think its up to you, and your corp to kinda orginize it. Maybe talk with ISD, they have a team that will do stuff with you if you present an interesting idea im sure. Also, maybe talk to CVA diplomats, UK diplomats, etc to work out some stuff in game.
My two cents, for what they are worth...

About time there was some more Ammatar player action. Good luck with it. You should know our stance on Ammatar btw... ------

Ammatar are tribes that gave in to brutal force, bowed to the Amar slavers and sold their religious background without abandoning their tribal background. Ummm, your linked corp introduction might need a little revamp here and there if you do not want to be labelled your slavemaster's bootlicker.
The Minmatar Republic main arc is planned to start any time soon, starting 3 years and 6 months ago. --*=*=*--

Ammatar are those Matari Tribes and worlds that bowed to the Amarr empire and reached partial independence and less harsh slaving conditions after partially adopting the religion. This step mostly removed the instant danger of becoming a vitox slave to the Amarr slavelord. That partial independence reduced the number of Amarrian slave runs against some of their worlds a bit.
The name is built from linking Amarr to Matar.
They got their own area in space, Derelik, and are rated as their own faction, but they're closely linked to the Amarr Empire and officially only bow to the Empire himself.
The Armageddon is of Ammatar design and build. Lately the Matari shipyard emblem had been removed from all their ships. --*=*=*--

I was being sarcastic, sorry
Yeah, the gallente actually coined the term Ammatar, and its just kinda stuck. They are actually a distinct tribe called the Nefantar which have now, for all real means, embraced the Amarrian religion. Interestingly they have their own prophets who are recognised, after a fashion, by the Amarrians - they cannot deny faith after all. Whether the entire populace do actually believe or how much of their old heritage is still in existence is debatable.
However, they see themselves as the true leaders of the Minmatar tribes, and the Minmatar obviously see them as traitors who sold out their own. Its an interesting concept to roleplay as their is much depth and possibilities with the Ammatar race, I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with. Good luck.

Some stories posted on our forums delve into Ammatar culture. Check the 23216 section. One significant contribution to Ammatar culture is "Tapestries of time".
Enjoy your read.

I've always seen the Ammatar Mandate as a bit like the Khanid Kingdom.
In the Kingdom, a lot of the population are from the Khanid bloodline, but there's also a lot of Amarrians, Ni-Kunni and Udorians as well.
Likewise, whilst the Nefantar may make up a large slice of the population in the Mandate and occupy positions of power there, it makes sense that there will also be a fair few Brutors, Sebiestor etc as well.

perhaps soem rogue calderi elements could be involved in future amataar events or developments.
Id still like to see a new faction emerge somewhere or from nowhere.

I would love to take part in the defense of the Empire's lands. Perhaps a small engagement of your Paramilitary with a slave smuggling Minmatar armed convoy trying to smuggle slaves through the Ammatar Territories.
I myself am one of the Ammatar, and have been serving in the Empire for over a year now. I have trained to use the weapons of our enemy against them, turning their ships and weapons into the machines of death they planned to be behind.
The Matar scum should prepare to be punished for their acts as Heretics to the Empire, and I hope the Empire and the Mandate bring full force in the oncoming war I see, to destroy the rebelious scum.
I would enjoy a nice slave crew on my new Hurricane, freshly smuggled from Matar space
