OPening again that topic because i didn't know what was hyperduncking and i want that topic open
so : just text from me... :
Just what happened to a freighter which was killed by only one destroyer in empire... ( or succession of 1 destroyer from the same player )
tactic made to keep the freighter on the grid for hours until someone can't play anymore...
the ship was killed somewhat 30min after i log off ... ( because they reload the timer each time by suiciding ) by a succession of destroyer from the same guy.... ( he can do that because the player, after hours of bumping... ad log off )
just for information , ... just thinking we were 4 guys trying to save the ship during 1 hour, by webbing the freigther or trying to bump the machariel... and there was simply no way to save the ship
They keep you on the grid until the pilot has to go offline, and then they use only one destroyer to suicide the thing
Please CCP give us a way to save the ass of that sort of ship... when you have the help of friends... I'm not against suiciding... i'm just against the fact there is no way to save something and that a single hardcore player with an alt can keep you for hours on grid unti you can't play anymore. and then suiciding a cap ship alone.
I dont mind to loose something from suiciding, i do take the risk... but i don't like to see that i can't do nothing and all rules are made for Code and Cie... i'm tired of that
I don't think it's normal a freighter goes downside at 600m-1 when you have 3 friends helping you webbing the ship.!!!...
The thing that is pretty lame in this, : they just have to bump you for hours until you have to log off... and then suiciding you when they see all counterparts are off... and ship with less hp...
Another thing : you can secure log off because you are locked !!! not engaged , only locked.... so there is no chance to stop the game as soon as this tactic as begun.
or you stop the game but your ship is dead...

the freighter was killed 30 min after i stopped to play because i stayed with an alt during 20 min to see if the ship had been suicide during the next 20min ...
and the ship was still alive on the log on screen 20 min after i had log off.
so logistic don't help !
this tactic is intented to solo gank you ( 2 account are sufficent )
you just have to keep bumping.
Seems that CCp allow someone to bump you for hours until you can't stay online, just to kill your ship when you have log off with the agression timer from a noob ship
the ship will never go in secure spot...
moreother, the pod was suicided after the freighter, exactly 14min 30 after the cap ship! becaus ethe pod stayed in the same place for 15min...
the pod will never warp out
so this tactic allow to kill everyship, especially freighter, maybe battleship , in empire, to make it solo, and to do it when the opponent as the less hp, because he is not online anymore, and why ? because he has an irl life and has to log off
They never tried to kill me when i was online, ( about 1h30 of bumping )

I'm glad you've made this thread friend, and I can 100% say that no one wants to waste sixteen hours bumping a CODE. compliant freighter. It's simply a waste of time, so make sure you have an up to date permit and you will be fine.
You can contact me in game if you need to purchase a permit.

Yes, CCP knows it's borderline ret'ded, but it's working as intended.
73% of EVE characters stay in high security space. 62% of EVE subscribers barely PvP. 40% of all new accounts just "level up their Ravens". Probably that's why PvE content in EVE Online is sub-par and CCP is head over heels for PvP...

I don't care about that loss... i just care about the fact you can't defend yourself... you can do nothing exept suiciding the bumper,
but when we tried to bump the mack, another bumper was there.... so suicide may won't work too
I think that's pretty lame to do so much job on ship overhall when you keep that sort of thing which are not balance:
the ship as dedock ... you bump it one time, you can kill it when you want,espcially when the guy as logg off
I think that would be fair that the timer won't reload after the pilot as log off ? or that you can try a safe log off while you are locked and not engaged?
that would allow a pilot with friends to defend the ship, for a limited time, after he goes in secure spot, and not indifinitely because someone suicide noob ship against it
you take a few logistics, you put the ship offline, you probe it and you go to defend the baby , like they do to kill you
I think it's becoming an exploit when you can keep assets on the fields for hours until opponent can't stay online...
everyone as a life!
one other thing : there is only one kill right for that kill !!
tell me about "the retribution" expension , that's just a joke
