Praetorian Defense Inc. Established: 2004 Timezone: Mainly US, but open to all. Primary Focus: PvP Secondary Focus: Industry/Trade Communications: Teamspeak 3
What We Offer: 11 Year Established History of Achievement Mature Players Quality Over Quantity Relaxed Environment Beer Fart Jokes No Drama
About You
The thought of killing your enemies makes you happier than a virgin at the Bunny Ranch! You like drama almost as much as having bamboo shoots stuffed under your finger nails. You are looking for a guild that actually helps each other out. Giving your friends a little hell, and receiving it in turn doesnGÇÖt make you feel the need to **** your pants. You have the capacity to receive an order while engaged in combat, then execute said order without soiling your diapers. You have no problem using Teamspeak. You feel the need to contribute to your corp, more than just being a number. You are at least 18 years old.
About Us
Praetorian Defense is looking for people who meet the criteria above. We are looking for team players who want to contribute to the whole of the corp with no drama. Skill points are not important, the person behind the character is. You do not have to be the best at pvp, or know every intricacy of Eve. All you need is the capacity to learn, the desire to excel and two opposable thumbs. We will train you.
Drama queens, whiners, pussies and the politically correct will not be suffered to live. Praetorian Defense works on a one strike system. The minute drama rears its ugly head, the offender will be removed. Reserve the drama for outsiders, don't bring it into our dojo.
Praetorian Defense Inc. is new to Eve, as such we will be filling corporate roles, establishing trade routes, etc. If you would like to be a part of that roger up!
A Word From the CEO
It is my belief that in order for a group to function as a single unit effectively, you must have people that are willing to work together as a team. In addition, a leader is needed, whose vision of what the corp should be is aligned with members of the corp. Having served in the United States Navy, I have seen teamwork close at hand. I have been everything from the lowly Seaman Recruit taking orders including cleaning the head, to the Second Class Petty Officer directing those below me in rank to clean the head. I have been the follower, as well as the leader. My point being that I wouldn't ask anyone in our corp to do anything that I haven't done myself. All tasks and members are important for the continued success of the corporation.
Teamwork is something that a group of people have to work towards. Sure, there are some that fit a mold more easily than others. However, to be a single unit focused on achieving a greater goal takes time and patience. Practice makes perfect, every little bit helps to say the least.
I consider myself politically incorrect. Why do I tell you this? Because I am not some bleeding heart who takes offense at dark humor. I can laugh at pretty much anything. I do have a tendency to use foul language at times. It is a Sailor thing...I believe cussing alone got me through that deployment to the Persian Gulf. I pick on people...making snarky little jabs and jokes. Don't sweat it, it just means I like you. I am open to you taking your jabs at me as well. If you wear your feelings on your sleeve, joining Praetorian Defense is probably not the best for you. I do not tolerate whining, drama, or any foolishness of that sort. It is most important to me that guild members are having a good time together. Progression takes a back seat to good times. I look for people who compliment what we have already. When people get along and enjoy each other, progression comes naturally.
