With all the discussion about podding and lag no one has anything to say about this idea? Tbh, I actually like it as it would fit perfectly in an universe that is supposed to be harsh and cutthroat, as long as such a rig wouldn-¦t be too cheap and at least moderatly calibration point hungry (should be at least a moderate drawback for the user)..... "If you cannot win, make sure no one else does!" - Some wise man
Since PvP is all about efficiency, the only people who would use such a rig would be greedy carebears and highsec gankers. I can imagine ganking fleets blasting the crap out of themselves, the target, and everything else in their proximity. Glorious! |

You wonder why everyone is just mining in high sec? Implants cost too much.
People complain that the "slippery slope" is a fallacy, yet we see it all the time.
CCP removes SP loss on death except for Tech3 ships, the reason is so that people can do things in dangerous places without suffering an oops moment because they did upgrade their clones. Some predicted that "people will just find another excuse".
Well here it is, "mah implants!". The problem wasn't implants or SP loss, the problem is that some people want to have their cake (maximum buffs from implants) and eat it too (safety for those implants).
No matter how much you give some people, they will always want more.

OP's name is highly ironic.

Could be a huge bunch of variables, not least of which is I did that traceroute back when I wrote that story. In any case, we BOTH route through the USA on the way to the TQ servers in London. Dont you guys ever lag then? Even a little bit? Just a smignet smallest latency lag at the worst moment ever? I fimd that hard to believe. Very hard
I lose pods because I fight even though I am in my last bar of structure. It costs ISK not to be a warp spamming wimp the second you get into half shields. |

Try that name on youtube.
The only ways to lose a pod is a smartbomb, a bubble, being australian or having a connection that closes your sleip's socket halfway through the gank. |
