I kinda do but the interface doesn't work very well seems eve isn't meant for touch eve though it seems like it should work great!
The biggest issue is having to double touch most things and long press any ideas?

Well I have a nexus 7 so obviously cant (not unless CCP go Android like that other old space mmo did which works well on my tab) , but I'd look to maybe a 2 in 1 laptop running windows for the solution. However, I don't think there is a good solution yet until CCP makes it more touch friendly, yes. I remember vaguely, can't remember where, in the last year or two, but I recall CCP mentioning that touch was something they wanted to work on. That would be an obvious move I think anyway. Might have been said at fanfest or vegas or something, so who knows. Maybe someone remembers the where and what.
And yeah, you should get at least a bluetooth keyboard and mouse for that (seeing your vid), I do on my Nexus, makes a big difference. Even the ones for ipad work well, so, many choices.
I'm in it for the money

I managed to get it running on a Cube i6 (Super cheap chinese thing), it's a bit of a fiddle but it runs at 30fps min settings.
Works fine if you're, say, changing skills. Maybe some mining if you're daring.
EVE isn't really designed with touch screens in mind. |

I hear what your saying but it really seems like it would be a interface that would lend itself to being touch based |

I have an Asus Transformer book T200TA, its got full windows, a detachable keyboard, and an Intel atom processor. It plays eve ok. I have not really tested it out yet, kinda using it now to play lullaby for my 4 year old so he will sleep in his room. But with an attached mouse it did ok on the time i did test it. would not use it for more then some basic stuff though.
Note: touch doesn't really work in eve, its extremely difficult to play with just touch
OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!
Yes i am optimistic about eve.. i'm giving it till dec 31st 2016 before i doom n gloom

Your results may vary, but I found it didn't scale super well at that size. Tapping certain UI elements was a fiddle. |

it runs on my Venue 8 Pro. Not well, but it runs. Something simple enough if you want to use a shuttle to move stations, or update market orders.

Yeah I also run Eve just fine on a Surface Pro 3. The touch interface is okay for some things but most of the time I just plug in a mouse and keyboard.
If I were just doing market or station type things then the touch interface isn't bad for that.

Can you confirm which version of Pro 3, and does it play the game fully or just basic market/shuttle movement etc. |

I have the version that has the i7 CPU (the higher end one). It can run the game fine even for stuff out in space but like I said I wouldn't recommend the touch screen for much more than station stuff. I generally run the game on lower settings just because I prefer it to run smooth but it could probably run it on medium settings okay.
I haven't tried any large scale fleet PvP on the surface so I'm not sure how smoothly this would run. I normally only use the Surface for when I want to log in and do a few things while I'm not at home.

Awesome thanks for confirming. I'm looking at possibly getting one so good to know, obviously I'd get KB and Mouse. |
