[6] - Quote And there was me hoping this would be something that i would make use of, i guess i shall consign it to the same pile as Dust and Valkyrie then Shame really, the idea of legion was pretty cool but i guess this pretty much officially kills it, personally i think VR is about as useful as 3D, something else i dont use, and i'm not investing in new hardware for something i will literally play once then forget about You guys should try giving us stuff to compliment EVE instead of something used to sell hardware :P |

Nah, not spending money on something that will be less efficient for the games i play, sure VR can be immersive, so yeah for that you might have a case, but for practicality and efficiency on multiple titles aswell as ease of access, hell no not even remotely worth it I have no issues being immersed in a game purely through normal means, if i have to rely on a 3rd party peripheral to experience the game properly its not getting a look in, i dont own a VR headset and i can safely say i never will |

The only thing i'm saying is, that they're amazing for some kind of games, and i don't see why i shouldn't enjoy it if the experience is great and meaningfull. Any pattern you're seeing in is your head, and if you're getting buttmad about it, then you're getting butt mad about nothing. Where we're showing it this year (the events listed in the news item) are events that we have confirmed attendance at for the rest of 2015 (places we know we're sending Devs). Gunjack is super portable, so wherever we're going this year, we'll more than likely be taking it. EVE New England isn't on that list because it's so close to the announcement ay Gamescom, and we're not certain we'll have the hardware back from Germany and ready for transport to the US. If we do, we'll be sending it along with CCP Guard, but we're not promising it for that particular event in case we can't make it happen. If they tossed a few bucks to a small team in Shanghai and this is just a arcade shooter with no real support needed on ccp's end, then why do you care? thye sell it for a few $$$ or have ingame microtransactions and it pays for it's self. if it flops but did not cost that much to make then its not that huge a deal or loss. And if it does well, then it means more income for ccp, which means more products and more developers to do stuff in eve. its a win win. I'm just annoyed at the slight deviation of the 2014 vision, but i'm hoping most of it is still on track. And as stated already elsewhere, if its popular, it should not be that difficult to bring it to the oculus rift, hell the hardware is form the same company OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!
