I've been thinking of training up covert ops.. I would undoubtably fly a bomber.. My question is what one is the overall best? I have about a months wortha training ahead of me for either any of them (little less for gallante and caldari)
I tried looking for subjects on this, but some things have changed since Revelations ===============================================

bombers were weak before revelations, with extra hps bombers are all but worthless, sorry to tell you, if you want to fly one tho the caldari one is probably the best of the worst

Revelations SB's are, if possible, even more pointless than RMR SB's.

I suppose they'd still be good when used in a wolfpack. At a gatecamp. For roaming/raiding I'd still advice inties/assault frigs

The Caldari Manticore with 3 launchers is obviously a nice choice and I have heard good things about the minmatar version (2 launchers and artillery).
Bombers is fun, but not exactly devastating unless in some few specific situations - I am sure I've heard either Tuxford or another friendly Developer that they are looking onto Stealth Bombers and is going to CHANGE them...
He sounded very excited too actually, but they often sound like that when making new stuff... I hope he said Kali 2 or perhaps 3 but not sure he gave any timeline at all...

Bombers can be useful in very specific circumstances but overall they're only worth flying for novelty value than any real effectiveness. Ultimatly assault frigates tend to do better due to a better combination of agility, durability and firepower.
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it.

I'm looking for the post but Tux said somewhere that they had 'Something' planned for Stealth Bombers in the near future. That's about as much detail as he gave but gives me some hope for the future. At the moment though, I don't have much fun playing with them.

If they could, they wouldn't be that bad.
