Just got this message from HQ, Odysseus Olacar head of Calibrated Chaos reported in today:
"We've done a stellar job capturing sytems doing in 4 days what others could not do in 40. Ezzara is ours good capture. "
The second system to fall in Operation Pool Party, Varrinox lead the charge as FC for three prolonged battles ending in victory. After popular response to Odysseus shirtless, the females in her Imperial Majesty's 24th asked for a calendar of men in the militia. After five commitees the Ministry of War decided that Varrinox would have to be one of them, even though his face has been known to terrify small children.
Ezzara Victory: Varrinox
Despite being the terror of the godless tribals, Varrinox is known to be one of the most helpful FC's in the Crusade to both experienced and new pilots. His three-person corporation is a cornerstone of the Habitual Chaos, but there are only three people in it. Although Lord Varrinox could not be reached for comment, it is rumored one of the other two makes him tea, and the other one does his hair. We're not sure.
Get in the Shed is a taunt, used on the many Minmatar who run away, which is most of the time, especially when Lord Varrinox is at the head of the fleet.
Remember her Majesty's militia is always recruiting people of good moral character! |

Do we have to bring another fleet down there to put a stop to this kind of... of... frippery? Honestly, it looks like the cover of one of those tawdry interactive romance novels the GallenteFlair Publishing company (Ironically, based in Perimeter... guess the Caldari figured the name was good marketing) puts out. |

You suggesting I am a spy means I will probably be subjected to an inquisition. I do not like them, they are boring.
And Arrendis, you can send your whole fleet down here we could definitely handle them. My guess is it'll only garner us more recruits when they defect, seeing as how the food, women and accommodations are much better here than in the Northern wastelands. They've got to be tired of wiping your Emperor's ass and trekking across forty systems for a battle. |

Tell you what - next time we're down near your neck of the woods with a fleet, I'll let you know. Or feel free to come north. After all, when you're looking for decadent pleasures, I promise, 'no substance is illegal' gives you a lot better options. Let me know how many guys you're bringing, I'll see if we can field a fleet that small. |

There's no law enforcement in Crusade space you silly girl, we police ourselves. You've never been to a militia party, I see. |

Give credit where it's due: Imperial Marines.
They offer some pretty outstanding technology on the ground at the moment and there have been a lot of mercenaries, myself included, who have been trying to get this technology for other uses - primarily in Molden Heath where a great deal of the heavier combat is dependent on forward spawning through Drop Uplinks. Of which, the Imperial Marines offer a Viziam Flux Drop Uplink which allows us to get to the field much faster than other variants.
Though I suppose the Imperial Crusade isn't quite as forthcoming as to congratulate their Engineers for coming up with such great technology, or the mercenaries who fight for that technology on the ground... Your "victory", as it were, is almost entirely due to the efforts of others...

The two battles were entirely based on capsuleers pilot activity, no ground battles were fought. There are civilians CONCORD doesn't want involved which is why the war in these two systems are regulated to include only capsuleers for the actual taking of the system. And it means the difference between billions of isk of revenue when we take a system.
I also would like to point out that when capsuleers are present in large number in a system, baseliner service member fatalities drop nearly to zero, due to the fact that special agents cannot accomplish any terrorist objectives. Our capsuleers monitor for enemy mission objective beacons and take appropriate measures against anyone foolish enough to try to disrupt our infrastructure.
I don't agree with you, and I don't like you, so **** off, you're a divisive element, we had several Templars in mind to put on the promotional material. |

Negligible men lie but TacNET doesn't. See for yourself.
Of the three planets in Ezzara, the Imperial Guard controls 63% of the available battlegrounds. Hand-wave with your CONCORD non-sense all you want, we did our part and you're riding on our coat-tails, not the other way around. Medals don't get pinned on capsules and you'll do well to remember that the next time you try to take credit for the merit of others far better than you.
Four days what others couldn't in forty.... Hah! By the blood of the Infantry, maybe.

I once went to a party in VFK- and they told me there was going to be Crash.
When I arrived I soon found out it was in fact a Crab party.
I quickly left, disappointed. |

There is, even now, crash available in VFK-IV station. I sincerely doubt that, when it was actually our capital and market hub, this was not the case. Clearly, someone did not stock the party properly, and should have been kommissar'd. |

Those battlegrounds don't effect sovereignty. If the fleet hadn't been present Ezzara would still be sitting in the darkness of Godlessness. Anyone can tell that, even you, though you like it not.
Varrinox deserves the attention, we would be in shambles without him and his tea service.

There probably was crash if I'm honest.
However I suppose I will never be certain. Most of my time in Deklein was spent at a high degree of perspective-abstraction and reality dysfunction.
Such are the perils when your infomorph consciousness utilizes an integrated information model and you find yourself requiring the data subsummation of another. The recomposition of the new always requires the decomposition of the old, as they say in the field of cognitive data modelling.

This is very funny. I have seen many reclamation parties and they are greatly amusing especially when fresh slaves are present who have never felt the righteous fury of the Lord on their nubile skin. I remember Lord Varrinox well, he has a lot of patience to deal with neophytes in the Crusade. I am a terrible teacher and I don't know how he does it. There are quite a few people whom I would say I admire in the Crusade beyond the fact that they are fighting for God, and he is definately high on my list as I am sure he is with many others amongst the True People. May the force and fire of the Lord be with him and you m1thr0s. |
