We are not privy to any more information than the rest of the cluster, no matter how much we may wish to learn more. Our only option is to look for ourselves and devote our minds to uncovering these secrets on our own.
At this point, unless the Empress is recovering "miraculously" as she did from her trials, there are no further opportunities to scan her as Mentor Raish had done. Without covertly stealing her body for research or attempting to hack the Society's databases (you know you tried when you were a student and recall how that went) then the only avenue left is to ask the source, politely, if they are willing to share that information.
As for Lyn Farel's curious attacks on my person, she is obviously distraught over the death of her Empress and is not considering the accuracy of her words at all. Some people may disagree with Hoje's perspective despite their training with the Society. When I was last there, it was not frowned upon to pursue threads of truth even if they are not in agreement with the conclusions of Hoje. But perhaps that has changed since I left.

Has your search already ended? I still pursue. Why do you try to dissuade me? Do you fear that your Empress may not be all that is said of her and thus hope she remains one of those mysteries? There is more to her, I am sure of it, but apart from circumstantial evidence, I cannot expressly claim more than there is. Have your Amarrian traditions overridden your most basic curiosity? |

Sir, you are just making an entitled fit to get information... There is nothing more to it, really. You are acting like a Sanctuary loyalist.
I guess I deserved the counter ad-personam, though I can assure you that I was more distraught as you say, by what happened with the incident around Mentor Raish, as exemplified by my post on the matter on that forum.
My search continues more than anything else sir. And I still maintain that you understand very little about Gorda Hoje's writings. You are falling right into the traps he exposes.
I am not even sure what the late Empress has to do with it ? What are those fallacies for ? What are your prejudices about Amarr for ? What do you think Scriptures are ?
I think I have been called many things but I have to admit that it is a first that I am called out for a... lack of curiosity...? Really... ? |

Uh... look...
I am not used to call down people like that and while I may have... disagreement and a bit of a shock reading you... I do not see it worth continuing that mudslinging.
I apologize for having brought up the subject sir. |

Your apology is accepted and your 'mudslinging' forgiven. People differ over methods and their earnestness to discover and all must overcome their own bias in their search. |

What was really weird, that he refused to comply, like it was a military action AGAINST the Empire. As much as i like needling Kimmy, I'm with her on this one. ALL wars are fought with knowledge, to deliberately walk up and take data on an imperial flagship during a public event, a TITAN no less. I'm more surprised that SOCT wasn't officially evicted from all Amarrian held space and hunted down like rabid slaver hounds.

I am not entirely sure when an opportunity to scan the Empress would otherwise come up apart from a scheduled public event. Given her reclusive nature, it seemed the only opportunity to do so. Whether or not that information was used by the drifters is debatable. You need factual evidence to support such a claim than coincidence.
Why did it take so long for Empress to deal with the "threat" of being scanned? Once the information was obtained, what gain was there in destroying Mentor Raish? The information was likely transmitted in anticipation of destruction. If the information was not transmitted prior to the destruction, then it would be impossible for the Drifters to have used it against Empress Jamyl. Even if the information was transmitted, there is no evidence to link the latter Drifter attack to the actions of Mentor Raish.
The Society may be as curious about the Empress as myself - especially given the intense interest of the Drifters and their concentration in Amarr space.
Given Amarrian politics and the number of influential Amarrians who were educated by the Society, it is unlikely that the Society would ever be evicted from Amarr space. |
