It's worthwhile to look at the issue from a different point of view, take a look at how it might be happening elsewhere in the world. Over here, maybe 95% or more of the population is white, but hip hop culture right now is as strong as it's ever been. It's mostly white emcees battling, and there's a ton of skill and talent involved. Sometimes some people come up and join in thinking they got more skills and reputation than others somehow "automatically" due to them not being white, but they get beaten down in battles. It's all about the skill accumulated due to PRACTICE, not a bit about color or your origins. A lot of people say style and voice come as ethnical traits and not something you can learn, but they get proven wrong every day.

Not saying I don't like rap or whatever the fans tend to call it these days (I actually like the music, just hate the stupid culture that's grown around it the last decade), but tbh, I've heard better out on the streets really. And the whole over-the-top homeyishness is making me feel a bit embarrased for him . As that may be however, I do admire his ability to come up with something decent this fast.
