Not to be "that guy", but does it really take the whole of CONCORD to tell us that there's an incursion in such-and-such system? If so, we need to replace them....

I recall back when the Sansha started attacking the Amarrians those of us who offered to help were told in no uncertain terms that our aid was unappreciated, unwanted and unnecessary. Now that the Drifters have appeared on your doorstep and targeted you you cry that this matter concerns all of humanity and we all need to be afraid that we'll be next in line. Some of you even have the gall to say that if we don't help we're your enemies and friends of the Drifters or cowards.
I don't believe any of that claptrap for a minute. Your nation is being targeted for reasons known only to the Drifters. If they were truly interested in wiping us all out why wouldn't they launch a coordinated attack on all 4 empires? Why start a fight with the largest nation first? Sorry, but none of this makes sense unless the Drifters have some beef specifically with you slavers.
If the Drifters start attacking in Republic, Federal or State space then we'll take action. Until then, this is an imperial problem in imperial space that your navy, allies, citizens and deity can deal with.
P.S. It's bad form and ineffective to beg for help on the one hand and name call those who might want to help in the same breath.
When the world is running down, you make the best of what's still around.

Precisely because of what is happening currently, division.
Picking apart a fractured enemy is simple compared to a unified enemy force. In this case attempting to cripple the Amarr Navy, arguably the largest space faring force in the cluster even if not the most advanced, before a truce or understanding between the nations can be made makes for a very sound tactic. |

Division won't happen, if this is between the Amarr and the Drifters the other Empires and CONCORD will stay out of it. If the Amarr get badly mauled and any of the remaining Empires are attacked this would result in a fully united response from all concerned.
My only concern is if the former is the case then the rest of New Eden need to ensure they do not get dragged into a war that is not theirs. |
