I propose the following change to the Entosis I & II modules:
If a module, whether fitted or in cargo, is in a ship that successfully initiates warp whilst in a warp disruption field or mobile warp disruptor, the Entosis module instantly takes 100% heat damage.

So...... Badly cloaked nerf trollceptors thread? If you want to talk heat, why not just 30% heat every time an entosis attempt fails? |

There is no HUD display to tell you if you are clear or not. Add lag and it's an overly harsh punishment.
The real solution to the problem you're trying to fix is to enforce a minimal align time to ships with them fitted thus allowing anyone paying attention to catch them. Optionally have them block stab use, I don't really care. |

that is whole point of mass penalty which they remove.
honest, only ships that can warp inside bubble is one those people demand to unable to equip link.
only different about his idea is that interceptor/T3 nullififer still can use the E link, however they need to burn out of the bubble if they want to use the E link. |

The real solution is far simpler.
That module quite simply does not belong on frigates. Or destroyers, for that matter. Ship size restrictions are probably inevitable.

Seems to be my new broken record...
you have the ship(s) to gate camp and tackle.
So why no ships to deal with the inty when in entosis? Before all this happened, long ago....did some just say screw it we lost when hostiles broke your gate camp and went to bash stuff? Doh, we lost the gate fight, evac, evac now....
Call me jaded but its just odd alliances with 100mil bitters galore are scratching there heads about what to do with a damn frigate.
They can pull up 10's of fits personal, roam and fleet to counter anything......except a damn t2 frigate.
Which if I recall from another thread these seems to be evidence is not the sole user of entosis. Seem to recall in yet another entosis thread....its dessies and cruisers being used often too. |

And yet that will crap out wormholes.
No, all we need is an align minimum and that's sorted that. |

Mobile depots are a thing, you know. There's no point adding a restriction that can be trivially evaded.

I actually think they have the balance pretty good now. This change is not needed. Additionally, and what is surprising coming from Malcanis, it's a very clumsy and awkward way of making a change. The mobile depot already takes up 50% of the cargo bay on an Interceptor. Add 20 m3 for the Entosis module. That leaves room for eight Strontium. You are proposing obnoxious and complicated changes for a non-existent problem.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. So, why do I post here?
I'm stubborn.

Well let's set aside T3s for a moment because they're a different beast.
An Ares has 96m3 cargo.
So a depot and a link leave it 26m3 left. Which is 8 stront. Then it goes home. 8 stront isnt really anything to write home about. An upgraded system will take 6 units of those to RF (5 cycles plus the warm up).
The solution is just bad, for a few reasons. It's like you have a smudge on a glass table and you're trying to get rid of it with a hammer.
Tell you what, sell it to me. Why is it preferable to a slightly lower speed cap and a minimum align time (higher fuel costs optional)?
>Active space is now easy to defend and the ship is virtually a guaranteed loss on a response. >Essentially passive only defence behind anchorables isn't possible and shouldn't be rewarded and will not be. >No hull size restrictions thus leaving WH able to function correctly (another reason I'm not overly happy, but not overly resistant to fuel costs going up) |

While we're at it, lets remove highsec ganking in frigates of destroyers too. Ganking quite simply shouldn't be done in cheap ships. I know CODE will 100% support this.

Sure, then let's be fair and remove oversized prop mods while we're at it
